From these past few years, I have never met anyone quite like you. I enjoyed the times that we have spent together and will treasure the memories that we have shared.
I will miss the tears that you have shared, and the small moments that I have collected and placed inside my heart. I have decided to write a small esay of the many little moments that I will miss sharing with you.
.............................................................
During my first year of middle school, we didn't really start out on the right foot. The very seed of our freindship began during gym. We were told to run three laps around the soccer feild, I was trying to catch up with Paola to continue our conversation, but I accidentally tripped you. I ran back to you seeing that the turf from the soccer feild had burned your knee. Thankfully, it wasn't anything too serious. I remembered how you sat on the bleachers because your knee stung far to much for you to even walk. I gathered my courage(knowing how feisty you were), and apologized.
Unfortunately, my apology didn't end as expected. After my apology, I kept my distance from you for the rest of the year. Although I have kept my distance, I decided to observe you. I admired how carefree you are, and how close you are with your friends. I also admired how you are able to keep your ground and use such colorful language, while somehow being the adorable Genesis in everyone else's eyes.
The very next year, I had decided to leave the past behind me. I wanted to be one of your friends, and I was. However, our friendship never truly sprouted untill we were in the eighth grade.
Our social studies teacher sat the both of us together as assign seats for the first semester of school. Later on, we began to share our interests. Later on, we became the best of friends. Sadly, that year was the last year I would ever share with you.
After my parents had an argument, my mother decided that my brother and I will be moving to the woodlands. Soon after, graduation passed and so did our last day of school.
Its summer now, and the only thing that I can think about is how much I miss everyone. I decided to write and publish a documentaries on Wattpad describing about by classmates. (Also, because I sucked at writing fanfiction)
I am writing this to show you how much I will miss being with you and to show you how unique and important our friendship is to me.
I will miss how you would comment my eyebrows, telling me when they're on fleek. I will miss you explaining to me who Stephen Fernandez is. No, let's not use the word miss, insead, remember.
I will remember that time you pinched me so hard that I cried. I will remember the time you played scorpion untill your opponent left scars on your hands. I will remember how we refereed to ourselves as "high buddies." I will remember rhe food we shared with eachother during lunch. I will remember your little boyfriend, (the dino pen) Pedros. I will remember how we joked around in science class. I will remember all the times you cried over Gabe. I will remember how we teased eachother when our crushes were near. I will remember your tiny, yet adorable little hands. I will remember how people referred to you as Pocahontas. I will remember every event that we have shared together.
Genesis, you are kind, you just don't know it. You might have heard me say that alot this year, its because I mean it. The little moments you would hive me lolipops when you wanted them to yourself, the food that you "somewhat" enjoyed, the little secrets that you've held on to so dear. Yes, you're bipolar, but it's something I like about you. I loved how your not afraid to do most things out of the blue. I found how you somehow made colorful language so adorable. I am happy to have taught you the word kawaii, and kowaii(japaneese). Lastly, I am happy to spend the best year of my life with you.
Thank you Genesis, for letting me create wonderful memories to cherish for the rest of my life.
