Minnowsplash and Silvermoon crept through a hole in the brick wall. They walked along the alleys.
"It's so cool but so w-" Silvermoon was cut off by a 'clang' of a metal cylinder falling over. A small metal disc with a curved price of metal on it, was stuck to the top.
A tom walked over. "Why are you here?" He said calmly but enforcingly.
Silvermoon was behind Minnowsplash, afraid. The tom caught sight of her silver pelt and tilted his head to one side. "Who is the she cat?" He asked.
"This is S-" Minnowsplash began but was cut off by the large solid gray tom.
"She can speak for herself if she has a voice." He meowed. "Now. What is your name." He smirked.
"I-I'm Silvermoon. What's yours?" Silvermoon slid out from behind Minnowsplash a little. he could still see a hint of fear in her voice.
"I'm Dagger. What brings you here?" Dagger smiled and curled his tail.
Minnowsplash coughed. "I'm here too."
Dagger didn't seem to acknowledge him at all.
Silvermoon shot him a weird look. then she replied. "We are from the forest and needed a break. So we came here but we aren't meaning to intrude. We won't steal prey either." She promised, straightening up a little.
Minnowsplash nodded and stayed by her side, ready for any sign that this tom would attack.
"No no. I totally understand I wouldn't take offense if you decided to stay here. I'd like that." Dagger's throat rumbled with a purr.
Minnowsplash walked in between them. "Alright, Daggo or what's-your-face. We should be on our way. Silvermoon and I." Minnowsplash waved his tail.
"No, be my guest. I'll show you around a bit." Dagger insisted and shoved between Silvermoon and Minnowsplash. He curled his tail over her back and guided her on. Silvermoon looked over her shoulder to Minnowsplash.
He shrugged and followed them.
"So this is my place." Dagger trotted away from her to a rusty metal cylinder similar to the other one. It was on its side. In it was soft cloth covered rocks.
"It's...cool." Silvermoon nodded sarcastically.
"I know I love it here!" Dagger meowed.
"I'd love for you to show me...us, more things but I... I mean we, should get going." Silvermoon nodded and padded over to Minnowsplash, brushing her muzzle across his.
Dagger mumbled something to himself. Then he looked back up. "Okay, I'll walk you out!" He meowed, a smile brimming on his face.
Then padded closer and closer to the exit, the place they came in. Minnowsplash walked out through the brick wall first and turned around to help Silvermoon, who was behind him. A giant wooden thing was put in front of the hole. "Silvermoon!" Minnowsplash raised his voice up in alarm. Dagger closed the entrance! He took Silvermoon!
(Now I am going to switch to Silvermoon's POV to make things interesting! Enjoy!)
Silvermoon was about to follow her mate but Dagger stepped in front, shoving a wodden board in front to block the exit. "Minnowsplash!" She gasped, trying to get to the wooden board.
"Oh my! I tried to stop it! It fell over. I'm sorry Silvermoon. We need to get you back to Minnowsplash or whatever his name is! I'll help you but this board is too heavy to move with only two cats." Dagger meowed, looking disappointed.
"Oh thank you for helping. For a second I thought you pushed it over. But you are right. It does look heavy." Silvermoon nodded understandingly.
"Yes yes but it is getting very dark." He meowed. Silvermoon observed the darkening sky. She nodded slightly.
""But you are always welcome to stay with me and we can find a way out in the morning. It's dangerous out here at night. Trust me, some of the cats are really mean." Dagger explained.
"Yeah I believe you. That's fine if we stay at your place." Silvermoon meowed and her mood lifted a little. She would find her mate at all costs. I'm coming Minnowsplash!
"Here we are again." Dagger meowed and let her go in first. It's not that big but it'll work for one night." He nudged the soft rock with his nose. "You can sleep here. I'll watch at the edge."
"Okay." Silvermoon turned around a couple times and laid down. She rested her head on her paws. Sleep was hard to come by as the darkness engulfed her almost completely.
Sometime later, she felt Dagger beside her. He wrapped his paws around her and she tried to wiggle away but he was too strong. Silvermoon hissed and batted him with a sheathed paw.
"You're not going anywhere. We must wait until morning." Dagger murmured, a hint of evil in his voice.
"What are you doing exactly?" She asked, still trying to get away from his grip.
"Well you are going to be staying with me so why not get to know me. Because I love you Silvermoon." He meowed.
"Dagger, you are nice but I don't love you! I love my mate, Minnowsplash." She hissed and finally got free, standing up. She unsheathed her claws.
"You won't be mates with him anymore. You'll never see him again. I will take care of you now." Dagger walked towards her, pressing his pelt against her, pushing her up against the wall of the metal can.
"You don't understand! I need to find him and I don't love you. I never will!" Silvermoon yowled at him and slipped away. She ran into the darkness, the moonlight shedding pitiful light.
"Minnowsplash. I will find you even if I'm by myself." She told herself and started in a random direction.
