Let's begin with the story

as Jaune turns around he sees a tall mountain and sees a figure on top of that mountain and it seems as if it was looking down at him and a sense of familiarity washes over him as if he knows the man on the top of the mountain or should know who the person is as the person looks like it was saying something as then pointing at him
and woke up in a bed
as he sits up as he looks outside as birds and trees are heard he looks around the room looks plain looking room with a bookshelf, working desk a closet
*knock* * knock* *knock*
knocking was heard as Jaune looked at the door and replied
"come in" he said
as the door opens a tall blonde man with a tattoo of a heart at his right arm as he looks at him
as the man just lays on the wall he looks at him with a bright expression
"so Jaune ready for training" said the man Jaune nods with a smile
"I'll be there in a bit just need to change clothes" he said and the man nodded
"Also remember if I see you doing any funny business with my daughter I don't have to explain myself do I" said the man in a stern voice
Jaune shook his head understanding where the man was coming from protecting people you hold dear in any way and coming home with a boy you don't know sounds like a red flag but Jaune thought no one thinks of him like that why would they
"You don't have to worry about that sir she doesn't think that way about me and she's to good for someone like me, she deserves someone more honest that doesn't lie or keep secrets from her someone better, I don't deserve any of this kindness or hospitality that your giving me it's enough as it is that you and her uncle are willing to help me, but you have my word that I will try to protect her with everything I have because she is someone who deserves everything good and I never go back on my word" he said without thinking much and just saying how he truly feels about himself as he promises to the man at keeping his daughter safe as a way of gratitude for their hospitality
Even if she didn't need his "protection" when she can already take care of herself while he's the one mostly needing the protection cause he's weak and he knows that but that doesn't mean that sure as hell won't try to keep her safe with all he had
As he tightens his hands into a fist the man sighs a sad look on his when looking at Jaune and what he went through if he was honest the kid was tough because most people wouldn't be able to come back from what he experienced he remembers when his daughter talked to both him and Qrow on not knowing what to do

"Dad, uncle Qrow, I don't know what do" said a teary eyed Ruby tears threatening to fall
"Ok kiddo tell us everything from the beginning ok" Qrow asked softly as Tai nodded the listening intently at her
as Ruby nods and tells them when Weiss found out about Jaune's fake transcripts and when confronting the headmaster then when headmaster did nothing about it Weiss let all of beacon know about it And their different reactions and how Jaune's Bullying kept getting worse and throughout her talking and explaining they never once interrupted her or corrected her
