The joyful circus music filled Robert Miller's ears as he stepped out of his panel Ford station wagon. The starry sky shined above his head and the wind's gentle breeze touched his face. Cars drove annoyingly around him, searching for a place to park, while he walked to the mysterious entrance. His mother, Linda, followed behind. She carried a white handbag with a light brown strap that looked too big for her to hold. Her green glasses and blonde wig nearly falling off each time she took a step. It appeared one of her heels were broken, too. A total mess.
Robert, on the other hand, was overdressed for a night out at the circus. He wore a black suit with a white shirt underneath and a blue tie. His pants were so tight that his buttocks shape was clearly visible. He liked it that way though, it made him feel sexy. It also brang confidence. Most guys would consider him weird for showing it off, but he never saw the point in covering up what you worked hard for.
"You seriously need to get better pants, Rob," said Linda. Even his mother agreed it was strange. Robert shook his head. He was not going to have another conversation about his pants tonight.
Popcorn, cotton candy, cakes, and other delicious sweet treats wandered into Robert's and Linda's noses causing both of their tummies to rumble. They wish they decided to have dinner before coming here. Normally, they are late eaters. For example, dinner they would have around 10pm. It was currently 9pm.
"Would you like to sniff my flower?" A clown asked Robert when they finally reached the entrance. A dark tunnel with hardly no light was the way into the tent. Robert looked up. The tent was around 40 feet high; bigger than an average circus tent. Massive lights covered the tent, showing purple, yellow, and pink to the ground all around. The clown laughed hysterically as if Robert just told a very humourous joke. Uncertainty grabbed his neck at the thought of sniffing his flower pinged to his orange yellowish jacket.
"I'll love to sniff your flower" Linda says smiling as if that flower had nothing contained in it whatsoever. She bent over a bit and sniffed it. Water burst out quickly and hard. Linda yelp back in shock. Laughing even more, the clown did a little dance and walked over to greet some more people.

Voices filled Robert's ears. The audience was so loud. Linda was talking to him but he could not hear a single word. There must of been about 500 people here. The circus ring was massive. All of a sudden the lights went out and everyone silenced. A man began to speak.
"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, welcome to the Hart Brothers Circus!" The ringmaster ran out into the center of the ring. Cheering filled the air. "We are very excited to be here, at Stanley, performing for you all for the next two weeks," he walked to the back of the ring and talked more, but Robert zoned out. He began to observe the surroundings: Children waved spinning lights which looked like flowers, ladies and gentlemen were sneezing often which was very odd, and Linda had a wide smile stuck on her face. Robert shifted in his chair and darted his eyes back onto the ringmaster.
The ringmaster wore the same outfit as to what every other ringmaster wears; which is a vibrant and elaborate costume, complete with a top hat and a long, colourful coat. Normally the coat is red, but this one is purple. He also had very white skin and light red eyes.
"First up, we have the wheel of death! Please welcome Alexander and John!" He spoke into the microphone which he was holding clearly and loud. Being loud into a machine that made you even louder hurt Robert's ears. He covered them with his hands. Linda side eyed him, but in a loving way.
"Are you okay?" She asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine."
Two men came out. One looked exactly like the ringmaster, the same white skin and red eyes, whereas the other had big muscles, bald, and tattoos covering up his shirtless body. He looked more like a strong man. They pushed out a large rotating wheel with a cage-like structure. One circle was at the top of the tent, and the other at the bottom. Robert gathered this was the wheel of death. The music began. Very upbeat. And the white man climbed into the circle at the bottom. He started walking and the circles span around in a circular motion. He did some tricks, such as jumping in the circle and climbing around the outside. After what seemed like five minutes, the muscle man fearlessly ran and jumped onto the wheel. They both jump and flip on the wheel as it spins high above the ground. The audience applauded.
The show went on for about two hours. Each act amazed Linda equally, but the last act of the show caught Robert's attention.
"For our final act, Amanda and Helen as the flying trapeze!"
From the top of the tent, two elegant women flew down. They swing through the air, executing daring flips, twists, and catches. A woman had white curly hair which rested on her shoulders perfectly, long sexy legs, and wore a red outfit that kind of looked like a jazz dress. Robert could feel his heartbeat increasing and he could not take his eyes off this beautiful woman. He did not even pay attention to the other one. His stare of passion burnt into her.
