Loving or having a passion for something is very different to an obsession. A passion or a love for something can bloom into a part of someone's personality, it creates jobs and hobbies, it can fill a heart with joy. Obsession can be dangerous. It leads to sleepless nights filled with thoughts of nothing but the obsession. Every conversation, about the obsession. Every personality trait taken or developed from the obsession. They get out of hand quickly and create a life where the person does not control the obsession, the obsession controls them. Obsession is dangerous. It can lead to death.

It started like most obsessions. Boredom. We were all bored and we had a tv. All shows now a days weren't original. They were all rip-offs of rip-offs or sequels of sequels. There was nothing new. It was all plain and boring too. Predictable plots. Product placement in every scene. It was just mindless and brain numbing. Since nothing from nowadays was interesting why not try some older shows, some classics. Proper classics, like James Bond, Stranger things, Jigsaw. Things from back in the early 2000. We discovered it when we were watching jigsaw, at least my siblings were. I had disassociated again. We watched it on YouTube. For its 26th anniversary all movies were free for a day. It's not like the price mattered anyways. The rich folk who adopted us just stuffed money in our faces. I mean we hadn't even seen them for 3 days. They were too busy for us. The only time we properly interacted with them was infront of the press. The wallpaper glistened with their lies. Everybody thought we were perfect. No ever listened. Chalking up my attempts at revealing the truth a lie for attention. People thought my brain was wrong because of my AuDHD and DID. People called me deranged.
I fazed back into reality to realise the movie had already ended. My siblings loved it so much though that they were wanting to watch something similar. To fuel this new mood they were in. We ended up searching. Similar media to jigsaw and came across an interview for a horror project based off movies like nightmare on elm street and jigsaw. Just what we like. It was called Generation Loss and turns out it was free on YouTube posted by the creator itself. We ended up watching the entire thing in one go. All three episodes with no breaks. I didn't even faze it out, I watched just as intently as the rest of my siblings. We were disappointed that we couldn't vote live but it didn't matter. It was still amazing. When we finished however, we didn't watch things similar and find related shows. We rewatched it. Over and over. Again and again. It kept repeating and repeating. It didn't matter that the same decisions were made over and over again. We watched the hero lose their friends again ad again, we watched as they gained a false sense of security only to be dragged into darkness. We watched as the hero was killed again and again. We couldn't stop watching and watching. Our eyes were glued to the screen not wanting to miss a single frame.
We eventually stopped watching. It wasn't because of boredom or losing interest. We knew there was merch. We wanted to buy merch of people. We wanted to look like the characters. We thought it would be cool to re-create the characters in our own home.
I went on a hunt for a Ranboo outfit as I wore a mask like them and had the most similar hair and features. Being the tallest and being a very similar shade to them. Aka very pale with a side of vitamin D deficiency. I found a print for the mask online and used a 3d printer to create a replica. I attached lights and wires to it and the mask was done. The next thing I needed to do was get the baseball style jacket, the black genloss shirt. some dark blue jeans. and trainers. To do this I went online and found people selling the merch in my size. I bought both and they arrived within a few days which was great for me.

I needed black jeans which I already owned. Dr martin boots. A mask with smooth edges all over it, and the main piece. The jacket. I eventually found someone selling one in my size. They offered it to me for $120 as they had bought it for $60 and it was no longer purchasable. Plus the shipping which would cost a little. I thought it was a fair price and was desperate to get my hands on one so I agreed and bought it.

I decided to be Sneeg as my blue hair matched his colour scheme well. I bought a white hat with a blue rim. I also got a matching blue with white jacket, some blue trousers. I finally also bought the white, blue and black trainers. Luckily for me I didn't have to hunt for any merch in my size as the others seemed to be having difficulty with it. I did still want some merch however so I bought a genloss beanie.

I decided to be slimecicle the slime demon as I've wanted to die my hair for ages and this felt like the perfect excuse. I dip dyed my hair lime green at the tips going about a third of the way up my hair. Next I bought an old dark green suit with a matching tie and painted some lime green patches on it. Then I mixed up some green slime and added pva glue to thicken it before pouring it over the painted patches. I then used carboard and an old headband to make the horns before covering them in foam clay and painting them green adding slime. To complete the look I also used some green blush and liquid eyeliner to create a green hue underneath my eyes and on my cheeks with green freckles.

Since me and Emily had similar hair colours we decided to both be Charlie but different versions of him. She chose to do the slime demon and I did episode 3 Charlie. Since episode three Charlie was kinda plain I wanted to add my own spin to it. For the basic outfit I got some dark blue jeans and a pale green shirt. I bought a bullet vest off amazon and some green tinted glasses for some extra detail. To make it less plain I added some black leather arm cuffs and painted some vans black with lime squares with a gradient to a slightly darker green. I also added a few green and brown bracelets to complete the look and I was done.

Now that we all had our cosplays together we took some pictures as a group and individually and uploaded them to social media. We got loads of likes and comments that loved the cosplays but weirdly despite thinking the cosplays were cool, no one knew what they were a cosplay off. Didn't this show be super popular? I mean there's loads of merch, old edits, videos, clips, memes, all sorts of stuff. It's infected every type of media content so why does no one seem to have seen it? we all want to be able to talk to other fans but no one we know has seen.
Does this show even exist?
