❝ 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐒, Erin. I've been off the grid for three years and now I'm getting a phone call asking me to join the behavioural analysis unit of all places? This better be important. ❞ Natassia sighed in annoyance, knowing that it wasn't important, Erin just wanted her back in the field."I'm phoning you because Natassia, you are one of the best agents I've ever seen in my entire career and I'm not going to sit and watch you let that go to waste now get up, I know you're still in bed." Erin scolded the younger woman, rolling her eyes when all she got was a sigh and a mutter under the breath for a response.
"Quesada, I'm being serious. You've got a meeting with Aaron Hotchner in two hours." Strauss ordered.
"You're joking, right?" Natassia hoped, slightly praying that Erin was going to laugh in response but who was Natassia kidding? Erin doesn't even smile, let alone laugh.
"Oh my god, really?" The girl groaned in pure annoyance. "Strauss, no offence but you don't need to try and 'fix me' just because you knew my chief."
"Yes, I do or at least try to because I made a promise now get your ass up. I expect you to be here by eleven, no arguments needed." Erin stated before hanging up.
"Oh for fuck sake." The Quesada girl sighed, sitting up, Natassia looked at the framed photo on her bedside table, "I've got to do this, don't I?" She questioned herself but a part of her knew she was looking at them for an answer.
Groaning, the girl pulled herself out of bed, heading towards her wardrobe. "Why couldn't my peace last another year?" She muttered, quickly getting dressed before staring in the mirror. "Oh my god." She laughed at her reflection, mostly in shock at her bed head.
You went to bed at four in the morning, you woke up at eight o'clock and just laid in bed for two hours, really? Brush your hair and put some blush on, you've got an interview in an hour. You can't look dead, Tassia, you've got to look like you've got at least some spirit inside of you . The voice sounding weirdly similar to her brother said in her head.
Titling her head, she realised how right the voice inside of her was making her nod her head in agreement and then cringe straight after.
"Do not do that there, they will think you're a crazy lady." She spoke to herself, turning her straighteners on and putting on some light makeup so she would at least look awake.

𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐀 𝐇𝐀𝐃𝐍'𝐓 realised how much she dreaded returning to work and yes, she knew it didn't help putting herself off the grid for three years but now she had to deal with the constant worrying that someone from the past would pop up, that they would find her.
However, Natassia also knew she couldn't let anyone figure out her past and she had done her research on her supposed team already.
She knew that Penelope Garcia and Spencer Reid would do their digging and could probably figure everything out so she had to disguise herself. That's why on the ride there, she came up with a backstory for herself.
Natassia decided that she would say she was a licensed therapist who had worked with criminals through Strauss and that's why she was being brought in to help the team.
"Okay, Nat. You've got this." The woman said to herself, almost trying to comfort herself. "Just don't reply to his voice and they won't think you're crazy." She reminded herself, realising now she couldn't openly talk to him because she would rarely be by herself now.
Opening the door to the BAU, Natassia put on a fake smile, taking a deep breath and walked up to the reception.
"Hi, I'm here to meet Aaron Hotchner." She requested before following the directions the receptionist pointed her in.
As she entered what she believed to be the BAU's offices, she noticed that there was six people who turned to stare at her as soon as she entered.
Derek Morgan, Jennifer Jareau, Emily Prentiss, Spencer Reid, Penelope Garcia and David Rossi. She told herself, looking away and starting to walk up the stairs which led to Aaron's office. Your new teammates.
Raising her first, Natassia realised how much of a big deal this was and she also realised that she could also just turn right back around and leave.
"So why aren't you, Tassia?" The voice in her head almost taunted her to which she just shook her head and knocked the door.
"Come in." A deep voice said from within the room.
"Hi, I'm Agent Quesada. You're Agent Hotchner, right?" She smiled, realising a deep breath and letting herself settle into what seemed to be her new life now.
