Chapter 2

I woke up without Liam by my side. I sighed and called out "Liam?"
"Lil when are you gonna realize he's dead?" My best friend Nelly said.
Whoops I forgot she was coming today, good thing Liam knows to stay away when she comes.
"Yeah sorry I just had a very realistic dream that of him." I lied.
"Ok crazy pants lets go SHOPPING!!!!" She shouted.
"Fine." I said.
We ended up shopping for three hours, I forgot to mention that Nelly's family is rich, so now every time I mention Liam we go shopping. It's torture really. We went out to eat at some restaurant and I zoned out while she was talking. She of course snapped me out of my trance.
"Lily did you even hear a word I said." She asked.
"Yeah you said something about Daniel and dating." I said. Although it didn't click until after I said it.
"Wait,what!" I suddenly said.
"I was asking if I could date Daniel since he broke up with you, it's all over social media." She said.
"Take him and I broke up with him." I said disgusted.
"Oh, are you sure?" Nelly asked.
"YES! I was there, I said it!" I said.
"Oh, ok, bye." Nelly eyed me and grabbed her 3 bags leaving me with my 5 and the bill. I paid it, grabbed my bags and walked home because she drove me. Half way there Liam showed up so I grabbed my phone and pretended to talk into it so I could talk with him.
"Do want me to grab something, Lillian?" He taunted.
"No." I spat.
"Ok," he said putting his hands up."wanna talk about it?"
"No." I started crying. We were just around the corner anyway.
"I have a surprise for you."he said suddenly.
"What is it?" I said suddenly I perked up.
"It wouldn't be a surprise if I told you." He said teasingly.
"Humph." I said crossing my arms. Then I tripped. And Liam started laughing.
"It's not funny." I said standing up.
We got home and I dropped off my bags and bandaged up my knee from my fall. Then I walked over to Liam's "house". I got to the door and Liam was awaiting my arrival.
"You have to close your eyes." He said sternly.
"Fine," I said closing my eyes."Now what."
He didn't say anything he guided me into a room, from what I know about the house it was the dining room. He made me sit down and there were a few voices whispering.
"Liam James Linden, what are you doing?" I asked.
"Ssshhh." Someone said.
All of a sudden someone took my blindfold off and I looked around and all of Liam and i's dead relatives were there from my first dog to my great great grandmother. I started crying, Liam and his father, Mr. Linden, came over and hugged me. I smiled and the few dogs patted over barking happily and petted them. We all had a wonderful time while Liam and I introduced each other's families to each other. Eventually they all left one by one until Liam and I remained. I finally decided the time was right and said to Liam "Yes!" He gave me a confused look and I walked over and kissed him, he was so confused that I was able to grab the ring out of his pocket. I decided it was time. I took a few steps back and took out the box not knowing what the ring looked like. "Yes, Liam James Linden, I will marry you." I said opening the box and crying.
"Good I wouldn't want it any other way." He said putting the ring on.
It was half and half. Half of it was real (the band) and the gem was a diamond from his side known as a black pearl diamond because black pearls represent love and these diamonds are put on their wedding rings. Tonight for the first time I slept in his arms the whole night,
"I love you." Liam said.
"I love you more than life itself." I replied.
