Things I hate
Number 1: Boys.
Boys are smelly and loud. They are also gross. They always fight in the hallways, can't I just get to my fucking class? They break girls hearts and are so insensitive... I hate boys.
Kiana stared at the diary on her desk, bored, uninterested in any of her classmates. Suddenly, a loud crash rattles throughout the classroom, interrupting her thoughts.
What the fuck.. Kiana looks around the classroom to be met face to face with a familiar, yet distant face.
"Uhh..." The boy had light brown hair, spilling over his eyes and down to his neck. His uniform tie sloppily rested over his neck, lopsided. From the looks of it, it almost seemed like he was being picked on. A group of boys, around 4 or 5, stood behind him smirking. Kiana could hear giggles and whispering from everyone in the room.
"Hes so dead!" Someone quietly exclaimed
"Shes gonna beat his ass!" Another voice chanted.
One thing Kiana didn't have besides friends was a good reputation. In elementary all the way to middle school, Kiana was known for having fights practically every day. She was expelled from a few school because of her uncontrollable anger issues. Nowadays, she only gets in to minor arguments and very rarely a few fights, but her glory days in primary school still haunt her.
"I'm so sorry... I, uh, was roughhousing with my friends you see, and..." The boy stuttered, lost in the middle of his sentence. Kiana just stared at him disappointed, which seemed to shut him up even more.
"Ok, look, I'll make it up to you after school, okay? I have 25 bucks on me-" The boy's sentence was cut short by Kiana's sharp words.
"I don't want your stupid money, and I don't want anything from you. If you want to make it up to me so bad then leave me alone, deal?" Kiana pushed her earbud in to her ear seemingly done with him. Usually Kiana would kick his knee or whatever, but she was too tired to even fight let alone talk. Looking embarrassed, the boy sat down in his seat, his 'friends' laughing at him. But Kiana couldn't shake off the feeling that she's seen him somewhere.
The bell rung, signaling the end of the day. Kiana felt dead, and just wanted to crash on her bed at home. In the midst of her blissful daydream, a sudden and annoying voice interrupted her.
"Hey! Kiana right?" She didn't even have to turn around to see who it was.
Frustrated, she shut her eyes tightly and let out a strained breath. "What do you want? I thought I told you to leave me be and we'd be good."
"No way, thats not a real apology. Let me treat you to a ramen shop,"
Kiana just stared at him, uninterested.
"A candy shop? Amusement park? Hey! where are you going?!" Kiana felt even more dead than earlier, and was hurrying to catch the bus home.
