A/N - Something a little different for the highly anticipated and wonderful album Layover! I'm really excited for it 😆. Heads up, the POV is going to be very unexpected, but that's how I planned it 😉.

Yeontan's POV -

Let me tell you hoomans something. My dad is the best hooman is the best in the world.

Do you want to know how I got such an amazing hooman? Okay come here dad, tell Amis how we met.

"Okay, okay, Tannie. Sheesh, what did author-nim do to you? As glad as I am I'm wondering how the hell she got me to understand you."

Taehyung POV -

"It's an honour to have you here sir," said the pet shop worker, seven years ago. I made the decision to finally adopt a pet. I wanted a pet for a long time, but I was afraid that it wouldn't last very long with me, owing to the fact that we had really busy schedules. I learnt how to handle animals with a friend who was a trainer, and with the consent of my members, I finally went to adopt one.

"It's nothing, really. I'm quite excited to adopt a pet at last,"  I told the employee.

"Which animal do you have in mind?"

"I have more experience with dogs, so maybe a dog?"

"Of course, follow me."

He led me to the room where all the pets were kept. It wasn't a big shop, but I was amazed to see all the animals over there. Hamsters, birds, including a couple of parrots who knew how to greet, some fish, even a few suger gliders like the ones Jin-hyung owns. And of course, a lot of cats and dogs!

As I looked around, I saw a pretty Siamese cat with bright blue eyes. I wasn't considering adopting her, but I was intrigued by her.

"Ugh, cats."

"Come on Tannie, you love Yoongi."

"So you admit that Yoongi is a cat?"

"Tan, no one needs to admit it. Everyone knows he is one. Now, let me continue"

I made a finger-heart and smiled at her and making cute sounds but the next I knew, she hit the glass pane really hard and hissed at me. I was surprised by her behaviour.

"Oh, don't mind Pearl, she can be pretty mean," the worker said, and as he did so she hissed again.

"Gee, since you're so sassy you might like Yoongi-hyung. And you may hate Jungkook, he loves teaching tricks to animals."

Pearl made an angry yowl and her tail swished around defensively, it seemed she needed a loving environment. I hoped she was able to go to such a home, because ours would have been too chaotic for her. I wasn't joking when I said she would hate Jungkook, he was still trying to teach Jin's sugar-glider to glide from Jin's hand to his head. And God knows what she would do to Jimin, the cuddly-angel.

I kept looking around and the worker showed me many puppies and dogs. That was when my eyes landed on a particular little teacup pomeranian pup. He was lying down and staring at me.
