Embassy of the Soviet Union to the United States, Washington D.C."We don't really have much time left, but I'll do what I can."
The incessant ringing of phones echoes, resembling the onset of earthquakes induced by mechanical vibrations. Streams of relentless calls stormed the whole compound. It has been hours since they lost contact with their parent unit from the homeland, the Soviet Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Following this, the entire Soviet presence in the United States was soon doomed to spiral into chaos, with their command gradually deteriorating and becoming more decentralized.
"Where's the Plenipotentiary[1]?!" a worried-faced man shouted across the room, his ear's still attached to the phone handset with its cord hanging down.
"He's busy with Kissinger[2], Deputy is also not available... not even the Vice, No one from the board is!" replied the busy man nearby.
Suddenly, the office door was forcefully banged open. Attache[3] Secretary, Colonel Lebedev, emerged, flanked by several guards from the 9th Directorate[4 ]. The Colonel approached and elevated the fax messages for everyone in the room to witness, which was irregular for him to pose it.
'PROCEED WITH DESTRUCTION OF ALL SENSITIVE MATERIALS'
"Leave. Now," commanded Lebedev, pointing sternly at the front door. Following the order, the 9th Directorate swiftly began gathering and destroying the papers. Flames flickered across the office floor as embassy staff silently observed, caught off guard by the unexpected turn of events. The unfolding situation left them without foresight or long-term plans. A sense of uncertainty hung in the air, with no clear direction for their future.
"But Colonel, we still can't contact the Home Branch. Shouldn't we wait for them first?" said the Embassy Staff.
Without a word, Colonel Lebedev walked across the room to the TV to mildly slam the button to turn it on. As he waits for the broadcast to play, he reaches out for his pocket and brings up the cigarette to smoke. The Colonel sure perplexed no different than others.

"And... Back to us, The recent event is surely bizarre. That's why we invited a Geographist to share his opinion and analyze the possible outcome. Please welcome Professor Kevin Hartwilles from the University of California!" the show host prompted.
Accompanied by a clapping sound effect, the broadcast captured the man in his late 40s making his way to the chair at the center of the stage. He greeted the scene, adjusting his collar and delivering a quick, expressive tilt of his head as he began to speak.
"According to the footage, It is impossible that a landmass the size of Canada could suddenly disappear. The backlash should be that without a landmass, The ocean would fill in quickly and cause a considerably large Tsunami to hit us badly."
