The girl who overcame time and the boy who came with her: Chapter 1

Suddenly his ears twitch as a strange presence brings his hairs on end, he hears a foreign voice from the well,

"Marechi."

A clawed hand digs into your ribs. You fail to scramble away as the pain only increases with your movement. At the bottom of the well it's too dark to see around you.

"Let go!" You shout, pounding your fist into the sides of the offender.

"Ow! Calm down would ya!" At the familiar sound of Inuyasha's voice you're suddenly relieved but soon irritated.

"Inuyasha! Let go! You're hurting me!" You cry out as you wiggle in his hold.

He eases his grip on you but doesn't let you go, wielding Tessaiga in his other hand.

You look around you but the well is empty.

"What did you see?" You question.

"Nothing, I thought I heard someone. What did you see?" He asks.

"I didn't see anything," you confess, "but I heard a voice. I have no idea what it was saying though."

You move out of his hold dusting yourself off and picking up your bag. There's no light coming from the top of the well but you figure the shrine is closed or it was later than you thought it was. Before you could reach for the stones to climb Inuyasha yanks your hand back.

"What?" You look back in confusion as Inuyasha is uncharacteristically quiet.

"We're not in your world," he states.

"You probably messed it up we'll just go back up and I'll come down alone," you reason.

"No Y/N! We're not in my time right now either!" He shouts.

"What do you mean? How do you know that?" You criticize.

"Unlike you, you human twerp, I have a keen sense for these kinds of things!" He answers aggressively motioning to himself reminding you he is, in fact, still half demon.

"Ha, Ha," you mockingly laugh, "good for you Scooby-Doo-"

"What-"

"Then where are we?!" You shout.

"I don't know, so you should be quiet!" He whisper shouts knocking his fist on your head.

You roll your eyes moving your mouth like a muppet as he talks but admittedly too scared to make too much noise now. If Inuyasha's worried then it's probably a cause for concern. He doesn't need to know that though.

Before you can even mutter another word the ground below you suddenly shoots further and further away from you. You shout as your flung into the air, Inuyasha leaping from the well after you.

"Inuyasha!"

"No need to worry anymore, the most flamboyant pillar has arrived to save you!"

Swiveling your head around your met with the muscular back of a giant man that must be at least seven feet tall! He glances back at you with ruby eyes, a beaded headband and silver hair. Tears well in your eyes at his hulking figure.

"Inuyasha!" You cry.

"Let go of her you weirdo!" Inuyasha shouts.

"How unflamboyant, this one looks like a dog," the man narrates as he adjusts you under his arm.

You can't help the smile that curls your lips at his observation but quickly remember that you're being abducted.

"Wait! Let go," you plea.
