It had been almost two months since Lucy and Natsu's anniversary. The two had recently, within the last two weeks, came to the realization that Lucy was indeed pregnant with their second child. Much to their disbelief, the five plus-signed pregnancy tests proved them wrong.
"Natsu!" Lucy groaned in frustration as the couple were talking in their room as their son napped in his own. "We agreed that we weren't gonna have any more kids for awhile! We screwed up" Lucy sighed as she fell over onto the bed, next to her sitting husband.
"Luce, I know it's not what we planned, but we'll just have to make the best of it, yeah?" Natsu said in an attempt to sooth his flustered wife.
"You are way too calm over this!" Lucy explained. "We already have Luke, who is already a handful, and now we're gonna have another little one running around to look after" Lucy said in a lowly manner as she sat up.
"We're rockin' parents, Luce. We can handle anything thrown at us! We can handle another baby! Besides, Happy will be here to help!" Natsu joked with his wife, knowing it'd freak her out with the idea of the blue exceed taking care over their children.
"ABSOLUTELY NOT!" Lucy exclaimed at her husband. After a moment of silence, the couple started laughing, collapsing into each other. Their little moment was interrupted as they heard a string of cries and whines coming from a nearby baby monitor.
"I'll-" Natsu began as he started to rise.
"No no, I got it!" Lucy grinned as she pecked her husband on the cheek, and left to go aid to their blonde haired little boy.
