As I unpack I decided to stop and see if my dad is with Tate, I usually don't check if Tate is with my dad but today I've been thinking about him a lot. I walk over to his office, my dad always leaves the door a little open I look through the crack. I see Tate and we make eye contact I give him a little smile and walk away before my dad turns around, lately I've been thinking more about Tate and missing him,I've thought about what it would be like if we were more then friends but his my only friend and I don't wanna ruin it. I sit on my floor reading and listening to music then I hear my door open
"sorry dad I didn't-"
"its not your dad" tate says with a smirk
"oh hi Tate" I say looking up at him.
"I seen you looking through your dads door, im glad you did that"
"Yeah I was just wondering if you were with my dad today.." Tate sits down on the floor with me smiling, he looks at the book
"What are you reading?"
"I'm reading some book I found, it's called Judith I'm still figuring out what's it about" I giggle then close the book and go closer to Tate.
"Mmm well wanna hang out later tonight" he asks well looking at my eyes.I think to myself how can I say no I've been wanting to hang out since I woke up but I won't say that.
"Sure I'm down" I say before my dad comes in ordering Tate to leave, before he leaves we both give each other a quick smile. I know my dad will give me a talk about how I can't talk to his patients but I can't help it, Tate is different then he's normal clients we get each other, i know Tate is different. People don't see him how I see him.
