The one or the other

Chapter 5 Lukes P.O.V

"Hey mallory." Jacob was smiling while Mallory & I were blushing.

"Mallory what are you uh... doing here?" she was staring down at her shoes or the floor. She was beautiful as always. When she looks up her cheeks were stained with dried tears. I wanted to just hug her and tell her everything will be okay.

"I'm here to get my things."

"Yeah, they are in Luke's room. You know how to get there..I'm late for a date with Beth." He walks out after that I turn to talk to Mallory but she was already gone in my room. I walk up to my room to see Mallory crying on my bed I rush to her but I don't know what to do know that she knows my secret. I sit beside her.

"how are you doing?"

"Well, in one day I find out that Jacob has been cheating on me with 4 handfuls of girls. I'm crying on your bed in your room..at least I'm not going crazy yet. I need a hug. Please?"

Thats exactly what I did..I hugged her until she pulled away

"Thanks Luke."

"For what? I didn't do anything. I kept it from you today when I found out. I should have told you, but i didn't want to be the one to hurt you."

"Luke I get it. I mean thanks for letting me cry on your chest. You are always here for me . There's not a day I think that I can't go to you with my problems I just know that you.."

I lift her chin slowly here goes nothing.. I kiss her sweet lips. Heaven...Wait!! Luke You're kissing Mallory and I mean kissing her. I continue but after a bit she pulls away slowly almost as if she didn't want to pull away. Then, she realised what was going on and pushed harder.

"Luke, Jacob just broke up with me and you try to kiss me? I gotta go."

"I'm sorry Mallory I just thought..." She cuts me off.

"Have a nice day, Luke. see you around."

She walks out of my room but without her box of things. What was I thinking? What was she thinking? Will we ever go back to being the same? Out of all these questions that popped up in my head one got to me.

Will I ever see her again?
