Sleeplessness

It was quiet all throughout the house, the only sounds being of ticking clocks, Lithuania's steady breathing, and blankets rustling as Poland tossed and turned. Poland was unable to sleep for some reason or another. He turns to Lithuania, hoping he is still awake, but only to find he is sleeping soundly. "He hasn't moved since we went to bed, and that was, like, three hours ago," Poland thought.

That's when Poland got an idea. He jumped out of bed and ran down to the kitchen. He opened a cupboard door and searched around until he found a pack of cards. He then returned to the bedroom.

Poland removed the cards from the deck and shuffled them, a habit most have, before sitting on the bed next to Lithuania. Poland set the cards down and began to make a house of cards, slowly and carefully.

"I remember when me and Lithuania first met," Poland thought as he constructed the house of cards. "He seemed nervous. I know I was nervous. We both pulled through pretty good though. I mean sure, I totally slipped up and told him to show me his cock and balls, but whatever. I got to see them eventually."

"I also remember that one time when I totally convinced him to go on a date with me. He didn't catch on that it was a date until I told him. That was a fun conversation to have at dinner. 'So, Lithuania, I guess we can totally consider this our first date.' 'What? This was a date?' 'Well, yeah, I just thought that it would be, like, fun.' 'It was pretty fun, but you could've just told me you wanted to go on a date.' 'It is more fun to mess with you, and spring a surprise.'" Poland chuckled slightly at the memory. Apparently, he was a bit loud since Lithuania had rolled over onto his side and tipped the almost finished house of cards over.

"Lithuania, you jackass, why would you roll over at a time like this!" Poland yelled picking some cards up and throwing them on Lithuania. Lithuania sat up in bed, startled at the sudden yelling.

"What's wrong Poland?" Lithuania asked.

"I couldn't sleep so I was building a house of cards on your chest since you sleep so still," Poland explained picking up the rest of the cards, and shuffling them. "But then you moved when I was almost finished."

"Oh, I'm sorry."

"I was also thinking of some things we did in the past."

"What did you think of?"

"Well, I remember when we first had sex."

Lithuania's eyes widen in surprise. "Why would you think of that?" Lithuania asks.

"Well, it was a fun time," Poland explained.

"I'll admit it was fun, but is that really something you should think of?"

"It like totally is."

"If you say so."

"You know what else I remember," Poland says bringing his face close to Lithuania's.

"What?" Lithuania asks, sounding nervous.

"When you thought Russia was planning on attacking me and you got so totally worried."

"I remember that also."

"Do you remember what my master plan was?"

"To put jets on your place and land it on-" Lithuania begins before Poland finishes.

"Yours like bam!" Poland exclaims, and laughs. "That was one of my best plans, like, ever."

"It was an interesting one," Lithuania said. After that a silence fell over the two as they both thought back on the past.

"Hey, Liet," Poland spoke up.

"Yes," Lithuania answered.

"I still want to build a house of cards on your chest."

"Is that so?"

"Yes, so you should lay down and let me," Poland says.

"Alright," Lithuania said and lied down. Poland then began the construction of the card house once more.

When the house was finished Poland insisted on taking a photo of it, to which Lithuania agreed to (not that he had much of a choice). The house was then taken down and the two went to sleep.
