A/N: Hi, sorry for not updating this story in months. I got a little stuck and distracted, and my interest in MSM dwindled a little bit. Sorry if this chapter is inconsistent or low quality. I pretty much wrote this in very occasional bursts each month

One moment, Gwen was eating Hermit's gross meal. The next, she was bolting through the forest, following the glimpse of Storm.
She lay there, exhausted, anxiety coursing through their veins, curled up in the ferns. Through her blurred vision, she could see two shapes begin to approach- one blue, one purple. She felt soft wings curl around her shoulders as their senses slowly returned.

"I saw him... again..." Gwen whispered, her talons shaking.

"Him? You mean Storm?"

"Who's Storm?" Hermit asked as he sat near the two monsters.

Gwen winced. She didn't want this Strombonin, who was still practically a stranger, to know what she did. He could hate her forever. He wouldn't want to help her get home anymore. If anyone besides Pandora found out about what happened in the Collosingum, things wouldn't be so good for her anymore.

So good?  She thought, responding to their own mind. Are things even good for me in the first place?

"Come on," Gwen mumbled, changing the subject. "Let's go back to the camp,"
Behind her, Hermit muttered something incomprehensible.

The Dandidoo lay down on a soft patch of moss, settling down and closing her eyes. Sleeping seemed so difficult, especially with yesterday's nightmares. Even when the only sound was the nighttime critters and gentle breaths of their companions- they still didn't fall asleep, not for a long while.

Pandora's log- 2nd September, 12000

(well, technically I'm writing this on the morning of the third!)

Another day passed of being trapped in the Human World. Suprisingly, everything is going pretty ok- we haven't seen many humans, expect a few in a boat that Gwen tried to attack... and Hermit has been helping us survive.

I'm really worried about Gwen though. Earlier this night, she ran off and started talking about Storm again. I should really help, I know she's dealing with a lot of trauma.

Pandora stared out at the rising sunlight filtering through the green leaves, many already tinted gold or orange from the beginnings of Autumn. Intresting- the Human World had similiar seasons to Plant Island. Or maybe only this part of the Human World? Not many beings, at least not many that Pandora knew of, had crossed between realms.

This morning, she happened to have had awoken before the others. It would probably be best to let them sleep, for now. It would be a good idea to simply take a morning walk- she did that often, and it would be comforting to do now. But it was best to not go too far, because a lot of the forest was obscured in a heavy swirling mist, and Pandora didn't wish to get lost.

She began to slowly stroll away from the direction of the camp, the dew-strewn grass feeling soft under her talons. Her feathers bounced slightly in the gentle, whistling wind, and the air was filled with the chirping of birds flocking around the branches.

Then Pandora noticed something.

There was a figure standing in the fog.

It was luckily not a human, for sure. Through the pale fog she could see it's pink colouring and long, serpentine body, the clear features of a Dragong, but without the distinct cymbals, and with... fur. Her gaze was met with glowing teal eyes.
