The action or fact of dying or being killed; the end of the life of a person or organism. Death.
I had one too many experiences meeting it. Looking it in the eye. Letting it take the ones I hold dearest. But I learned to accept it.
The way they died was hard but death was gentle when it looked into their eyes and took them into its embrace.
I too wish to walk one day beside them- to be embraced by it and see the ones I used to hold dearest.

"Eat or you'll starve..." F/n's mother said to her eleven year old daughter who sat beside her. She grabbed her spoon, bring it up to her l/c lips to take another bite. The radio played as the two ate and enjoyed their lunch together. F/n mother cooked but couldn't wait for her husband to return from work. So they ate without him. Wouldn't be the first time anyways.
"When is dad coming home?" Young F/n asked her mother as she was shooing away the families dog before she ate something she wasn't supposed too.
"Get down, Sam!" She yelled.
F/n laughed at her mother.
"Eat you fool..!" She jokingly threatening f/n with a piece of meat impaled on her fork. "Give it to Sam-" "no!"
The L/n family lived in the middle of New York City. Where you can find everything. Pigeons, crack heads, everything. For years they wanted to move. But due to F/n father's work, they didn't have a choice to pick where to live.
