𝑝𝑜𝑙𝑎𝑟𝑜𝑖𝑑𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑘𝑖𝑠𝑠𝑒𝑠

"Let's go on a date today," Sirius declared as Ruby and Thomas looked at him with wide eyes.

"Why so sudden?" Ruby asked as she wiped the leftover food from Thomas's mouth, who clapped his hand cheerfully.

"Just because," Sirius said as Ruby gave him a stare.

"Look, it has been months since we went on a date, so why not?" Ruby eventually agreed as she went inside her room and got dressed up in an elegant floral dress and let her hair loose.

"So, let's go?" She asked as Sirius nodded his head with a grin. Ruby carried Thomas in her arms, and the Black family apparated to McKinnon.

"Marls!" Sirius yelled as Marlene opened the front door and hugged Ruby, leaving Sirius to fake a pout.

"Seriously, Marls?" Marlene just grinned as she opened the door wide to let them in.

"Actually, I and Sirius are going for a date, so.. can you babysit Tom today?" Ruby asked.

"Is it okay if his godmother babysits him?" Came a voice as Ruby's eyes widened in surprise.

"El!" Ruby exclaimed as the besties embraced each other.

"What are you doing here?" Sirius asked as he saw his son being carried to Eleanor.

"Here for a break from my daughter and her dad," Eleanor said as she kissed Tom's cheek, which made him let out a giggle.

"Alright, you guys continue with your date! I'll take care of my Tommy, isn't that right?" Tom vaguely nodded his head as the trio walked inside, leaving Sirius and Ruby alone outside.

"So... where are we going now?" Sirius asked awkwardly. Ruby grinned as she interlocked their hands and looked at him.

"To the muggle world"

"This place has changed," Sirius muttered as he looked around the city. Ruby and Sirius were walking across the pathway together.

"And are we just gonna walk?" Sirius asked as Ruby remained silent and looked for an empty alley, and finally, she found one. As soon as they entered the empty alley, Ruby pushed him against the wall and kissed him, which made Sirius's eyes get wide.

Ruby smiled a little as she ran her tongue on his lower lip. Sirius slowly melted in the kiss as his hand grabbed her hair and massaged her nape softly, which sent shivers down her spine. He swiftly bent her down with one of his hands at her neck and the other at her waist, which made Ruby smile.

Slowly, the couple pulled away with a satisfied smile. He made her stand properly as Ruby smoothened his hair with her fingers.

"Why here?"

"Because it's an empty alley, and I always wanted to share a kiss with you in these kinds of places. No one bothers to walk this way, " Ruby said as Sirius kissed her forehead.

Finally, the couple left the alley and started their journey to arcade.

"What's an arcade?" Sirius asked.

"It's like a play area for kids and teens," Ruby said.

"Are we teens?"

"Duh, I'm just gonna turn nineteen and sadly you aren't a teen anymore" Ruby teased him as Sirius scoffed in reply before pulling her closer to him by wrapped his arm around her neck and knocking on her head playfully. Ruby whined as she let out a laugh and got away from his grip.

"Stop harassing me,"

"You did harass me a while ago near the alley. Don't tell me that you had forgotten it that soon, " Ruby blushed as Sirius smirked triumphantly. The couple entered the arcade as they played many games. Well, they tried to play a few games as half of the time was wasted by Ruby scolding Sirius was pressing the wrong buttons.

"I don't know how this works!"

"Look at that kid. He knows much better than you!" Ruby roasted him as Sirius stuck his tongue out.

Then the couple went inside a photo booth as Sirius looked around with curious eyes.

"Photo booth? What does that mean?"

"This is a place where we can take photos and have it with us," Ruby explained as Sirius nodded his head.

"So,what are we supposed to do?"

"Follow my actions," Ruby said as she pulled him in for a kiss. Sirius's eyes widened as the booth was suddenly flashed with light.

"Someone's Fiesty today," Sirius teased as Ruby rolled her eyes.

"Come on, next pose," Ruby said as Sirius swiftly carried her in bridal style as Ruby yelped, and once again, there was a birght flash.

"Last one," Ruby said as she thought of what to pose while frowning. Whereas Sirius pulled her closer to him by wrapping his hand around her waist. Their noses were brushing against each other as Ruby placed her hand at his chest. Slowly, their foreheads were leaned against each other.

"Stay close to me," Sirius whispered, and there was another flash.

The couple looked at the three photos as they smiled heartily.

"Sirius," Ruby said as she took their last photo and slid it inside his pocket, and looked at him. " I'll be right here," she said, pointing at his chest. "We keep this love in a photograph."

Finally, the couple apparated back to the wizarding world with an everlasting smile. The sun was set, and the sky was dark and cozy. Ruby and Sirius walked towards Marlene's house as Ruby knocked on the door.

But, what surprised her was that the door was kept open.
