Oliver's Pov
I've been helping maddy for about an hour now and she really is clueless "are you hungry" she asks me. I wasn't just hungry I was starving. I told her I was hungry and she told me to follow her to the kitchen
"Hmmm, how about pizza?" She asks me literally reading my mind I was craving a domino's pizza so I was shocked when she started to bring out ingredients? "What are you doing" I ask her "we're gonna make it from scratch silly" she tells me while opening another cupboard. Make pizza? I've never done that before.
"Why?" I ask I mean she could easily order it or just get a personal chef to make it for her. "Because it's so much more fun this way" she smiles, she's so different then what everyone says I mean people like my mom just assume she's spoiled,stuck up, self centre- "are you gonna help or what?" She tells me "uh I've never made pizza I'm not sure how to help" i tell her quietly but she just smiles even more "I'll teach you!" She says very excited and I smile back.
It took us about 30 minutes to make the doe and add the toppings and another 5 since she wanted to cut the pepperoni into hearts. I watched as she carefully put the pizza in the oven. She was right it's way more fun to do it yourself we ended up having a flour fight in the middle of making the doe.
After she put the pizza in the oven she looks at me and starts to walk towards me "you've got some flour on your face" she tells me I mean I'm not surprised even tho she managed to get all the flour off of her skin.
She points on her face to show me where it is on me if that makes sense. I took my hand and wiped the side of my mouth. She laughed gosh I love her laugh it's definitely my new favourite sound "let me" she whisperers bringing her hand to the other side of my mouth and wiping the remainder flour off, our faces were so close together and we both kept eye contact.
I decided to be brave and slowly leaned in until my phone went of. Great. She moves back and tells me she's going to get changed I look at my phone to see my mom calling me ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 5:15pm
Yes mom?
"Oliver where are you?!"
"I'm at a friend's gosh i Already told you"
"What friend because I just saw Cooper and as far as I know he's your only friend"
"Well I never said i was At coopers did I? I'm at maddys"
"Maddy? Madelyn Salvatore. since when were you friends with her..?"
"I'm tutoring her"
" Whatever be home by 6:30 I need help with Annakats play date"
"What no, ask Taylor"
"don't "what no" me home by 6:30 and that's final"
*call ended* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My moms so annoying she has like 2 other people in the house to ask for help why is she bothering me. My thoughts where interrupted when I heard footsteps coming down the glass stairs. I looks up and saw maddy wearing a tight white top and pink pocadot pj trousers. Even in her pyjamas she looked beautiful.
"Is everything okay" she asked me " uh yeah it was just my mom telling me to be home by 6:30" i told her. I could see her face drop abit telling me she was sad. I couldn't really blame her I wouldn't want to be alone in this big house.
"Oh okay" she says "let's go check on the pizza" she tells me. i walk to the kitchen following behind her. I watch as she grabs the oven mits and opens the oven. It smelt amazing, she carefully took out the pizza trying not to burn herself and placed it on one of the counters.
"Look in that draw for a pizza cutter" she tells me before opening a cupboard and getting out 2 mugs I look in the draw and got the pizza cutter out, then I started to cut the pizza this really did smell delicious "what drink would you like?" She asks me " just a Pepsi please" i tell her.
I checked the time and it was 6:00. We finished the pizza awhile ago it was amazing and now where watching tv. Maddy must've noticed me check my phone "i guess you should start to get going" she tells me and I nod at her "I'll go get Robert" she sadly smiles before leaving, I'm guessing Robert is her driver
A minute later she comes back "the car is waiting outside for you just tell him your address and he'll take you there" she says "okay" i thank her aswell before heading to the door. "Wait. Um can we do this again tomorrow? The tutoring" she clarifies "oh I can't sorry but I can do the day after?" I ask her she nods before walking closer to me "I'll see you at school" she smiles before kissing me on the cheek "y-yeah see you at s-school" i blush before leaving the house
I can't believe the Madelyn Salvatore missed me on the cheek this is the best day of my life.
