Serendipity

Prologue

Kurt Hummel was devastated when his ex-boyfriend, Blaine Anderson, someone that he still loved, moved on and was in a relationship with someone else.

And that someone else just happened to be Dave Karofsky. His ex-bully, someone that used to terrify him, someone that made his life in highschool a living hell.

Kurt was heartbroken, but thanks to help and support of his best friend, Rachel Berry, and his brother, Finn Hudson, he was able to slowly move on.

He decided to go on dates, trying to see if he could find the perfect match, but those dates always ended in failure. He stopped going on dates after one of his dates ended up being a man that was old enough to be his father.

Kurt decided to stop going on dates and decided to just focus on himself and his career.

However, Rachel knew just how much her best friend was suffering seeing Blaine and Karofsky together. She knew that she had to step in and help her best friend find someone else so he can be happy.

Which is why she, along with Finn Hudson, set up a blind date for Kurt.

Kurt was shocked, and a little annoyed, but he knew that he had to let go of Blaine and move on. After all, he too deserved to be happy.

So, while reluctant at first, he agreed to go on the blind date.

Kurt went to a fancy restaurant, got himself a table, and waited for an hour for his mysterious blind date to arrive.

He was beginning to lose hope, thinking that his date got cold feet or stood him up, but right before he could leave he laid eyes on the most handsomest guy ever.

Stiles Stilinski.

And he just so happened to be his mysterious blind date.

Stiles was in the same situation as Kurt. He was left heartbroken after his ex-girlfriend, Lydia Martin, left him without a reason.

No reason, no note, not even a goodbye, she just packed her things and left.

He was heartbroken, confused and betrayed. After all his years of pinning after the girl he's had a crush on since highschool he had finally gotten her. Only for her to leave him without telling him why, she just up and left.

He spent all his time in his room, never going outside for work or even to see his family and friends. He just wanted to be alone and suffer his heartbreak alone.

Until his best friend since forever, his brother in all but blood, Scott McCall marched over to his place and demanded that he left his bed to take a shower and get dressed because they were going to the club and he was going to help him get his mind off of Lydia.

That didn't work.

Well, it did, but partly.

Stiles, reluctantly, took a shower and got dressed but refused to leave his house. So Scott decided the two of them would have a movie night. And while it didn't cheer Stiles up all the way, it helped a little bit.

But Scott could see that his best friend was still hurting.

And he decided that enough was enough.

He and Stiles's father, Noah Stilinski, along with Malia Tate, Stiles's best friend and Scott's ex-girlfriend (but they're still good friends) worked together and set up a blind date for Stiles without him knowing.

When they announced that he was going on a blind date, Stiles tried to get out of it.

But the two young adults and the older adult argued that it was time for Stiles to move on from Lydia. They argued that he had to stop moping over her and find someone else, arguing that he deserved to be with someone that wants to be with him and actually loves him.
