Willow’s POV:

(When they arrived at the mansion)

We all got out of the limo and stretched. I look around then at the big mansion. Not going to lie, it was beautiful. It kind of looked new, I mean the painting and everything was just perfectly done. The mansion had a waterfall in front of it surrounded by beautiful white roses and four mini sidewalks on all sides.

I wait until everyone is in front of me before going in behind them. Inside was beautiful and very big. When we walked inside the living room, we saw a group of males sitting around, some doing schoolwork, some doing actual paperwork, and others are just playing video games.

My bio father cleared his throat which caught the attention of the males cause their heads snapped in our direction in a second. They might have a whiplash from that. The oldest out of the males who were scattered around in the living room looked at everyone one of us before stopping at me. He stared at me for what seemed like five minutes but was actually 10 seconds.

He then looked at Atlas with a raised eyebrow. Some maids took our suitcases upstairs like my bio mom instructed. We all sat down, and my bio parents told the others what happened. I wasn’t paying attention, but my instincts took over and I found someone being pinned to the wall with my hand on their throat. I heard gasps and people standing up but payed no mind to it.

I felt someone gently lay their hand on my left shoulder. Knowing it was Devin, I let the person go as he gently grabs my arms and pulls me away from everyone. I took a deep breath and as Devin sat me down on the front step in front of the house, he patted my shoulders gently before heading back inside.

I sat out here staring at the water fountain when I heard someone walk out and sit next to me. They weren’t sitting close, but they weren’t sitting far either. I looked over and saw the one guy who was about to touch me. From the corner of my eye, I saw Atlas watching, being cautious of both of us. I look back at the water fountain.

“I’m Dexter. The youngest brother and your older brother.” He said. I nod my head and sigh. “Willow. I’m sorry I did that. I just don’t really like random strangers touching me and it was a reflex.” I said. He nodded his head in understanding. “It’s okay. Atlas does that too. I was kinda surprised though.” he said. “Why? Because I’m a girl?” I asked. His eyes immediately went wide, and he started shaking his head. “What? No. I just didn’t expect it. You got a strong grip though.” he said.

I slightly laugh and look at him. “Thanks. My mom put me in self-defense classes along with other things.” I said. He looked confused for a few minutes before realization hit him. He then went quiet. I had to look over at him to see a slight frown on his face. “You, okay?” I asked, gently with my right hand on his shoulder. He snapped out of his thoughts and looked at me. “Yeah. It’s just... Why aren’t you calling mom your mom?” he asked. I take my hand off his shoulder and look ahead.

“I’m not going to call a random woman my mom. I mean she just walked out of my life, I mean I thought she did but still, I just met her, I’m not comfortable calling her mom yet. My mom is my mom, even if she didn’t give birth to me or have my blood. She is my mom, and your mom is your mom. Right now, she’s like um... she’s a stranger to me. I don’t personally know her like you and the others do so I don’t, I’m not comfortable calling her mom.” I explained. It took a while for him to process it all before nodding his head. “I understand.” he says with a small smile on his face.

We sat in silence until I heard Dexter sigh with a slight chuckle. I look at him to see him shaking his head. “What?” I asked. “Atlas. He’s watching us.” he said. I nod my head. “I know. He’s been watching us since you came out here.” I said. “He’s worried I might hit you or something.” he said. “Hit me? Please. He’s worried about you.” I said. He shakes his head. “No, he’s not.” he said. We sat in silence again until we thought it would be a good thing to go inside. When we walked inside the living room, I saw everyone chilling and talking like old friends.

I walked over to mom when I saw one of the guys watching her like she’s, his enemy. I sit down and mom wraps her arm around my shoulders. I lay my head on her shoulder and sigh. I didn’t bother to pay attention to others’ conversation but when I felt someone gently put their hand on my shoulder, I knew it was Devin. He does that so I know it's him, Eddie puts his hand on my knee, and Callie pats my head. I slowly open my eyes and look up at him.

I felt myself being picked up and I knew it wasn’t from Devin or Eddie. I slightly open my eyes and Atlas carrying me. I was way too tired to even care so I just layed my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes as he walked upstairs. A little while later I felt myself being placed on something soft.

Atlas POV:

I laid the blanket over Willow and gently placed a gentle kiss on her forehead before walking out of her room and going downstairs. The others were still talking, apparently Dexter and Gages friends are coming over for some video games and to beg our mom to cook for them like usual. I roll my eyes at them and show Willow’s friends their room upstairs while mom talks to her new friend (Willows mom). After all the touring around, I go to the office and do some illegal work.

Luke came and told me dinner was done so I left my office and headed downstairs to the dining room. There I saw everyone except Willow and her friends. Gage and Dexters friends were also there talking nonstop. I sat in my seat next to dad across from mom.

A few minutes later, Willow and her friends showed up and sat down at the end of the table. They kissed Ava and mom on the cheeks before they sat down at the end of the table. Gage and Dexter’s friends were staring at the girls when Eddie and Devin lightly slapped them on the back of their heads as they passed them. They sat down near Willow and glared at the guys. A slight chuckle left my mouth, but I quickly look away and watch as the maids placed the plates and stuff on the table in front of everyone. It was silent until I heard a thank you come from ava, mom, willow, and her friends. The maids were about to leave when Willow cleared her throat.

Willow’s POV:

I watch as everyone lifts their heads up and looks up at me. I raised an eyebrow at them, and it wasn’t until I heard Jax sigh. I look at him to see him look at the maids and say thank you causing the others to follow. When we finished eating, my friends and I went upstairs and hung out.
