Morning rolled around, and Marshall was first to wake up, where he noticed a sleeping skye still snuggled up against him.
With a smile, he gently began to wake her up.
Marshall: "Skye, it's time to wake up."
He nudged her with his nose.
Skye: "hmmmm,"
Skye woke up and looked at Marshall and smiled, making Marshall blush.
Skye: "Good morning. How did you sleep?"
Marshall: "Good since I had you to keep me company."
Skye blushed after hearing this.
Skye: "I slept great as well, I had a pretty comfy pillow."
Marshall chuckled and nuzzled Skye, which made her chuckle as she nuzzled him back.
The two pups got up and left Marshall's pup house.
Marshall: "Wait, Skye, can I ask you something."
Skye: "Sure, what's up?"
Marshall: "Would you li-"
*beep beep*
Their pup tags went off.
Marshall: "Never mind, I'll ask you later." He said, disappointed.
Skye: "Ok, we'll talk later then."
The two ran into the lookout and into the elevator with the other pups.
They got dressed and stood ready waiting for ryders' orders.
Ryder: "Alright, pups, we have no time for details. The storm last night caused some damage, so we need all paws on deck for this one."
Ryder: Rocky, some telephone poles fell down near the park, so you me and Rubble are gonna move them and pit up new ones.
Rocky: "Green means go."
Ryder: "Chase, I'm gonna need you to drive around town and block off flooded roads, and Zuma, he's gonna need a helping paw, so you're going with him."
Chase: "Chase is on the case."
Ryder: "Alright, Marshall and Skye, during the storm, some of the animals from the farm ran away, so it's up to you two to locate them treat them if there hurt then return them to the farm."
Marshall: "We're fired up."
Skye liked hearing Marshall say that always so determined to help people, it's what she loved about him.
Ryder: "Alright, paw patrol, let's roll out."
All the pups went down the slide to their vehicles and were off to their mission.
