When Akutagawa told me all about this.I was shocked.And scared.

I don't want to lose him.I love him so much.

The reason why it's so fatal that it's killing him now.Is probably because of his weak immune system.

If you didn't know,He's really underweight.He doesn't eat much.So I always make delicious food when he's over,so he can eat.

He has trouble sleeping too.When I'm not there,he gets about only 4 hours of sleep at most.

But when I'm cuddling with him.He could sleep for days.

Without me around,Akutagawa can't sleep or eat.If he couldn't do that,he would've never get better. Thats why I always tried to be with him when I had time.

He shouldn't be working so hard.Especially when he's sick like this.But not even I can help it.He's a workaholic,And forever loyal to the Port mafia.

I hate that me and his' last year together has to end like this.That is has to end with us being secret.

Sometimes I wish we were different people.That what we were,didn't have to have an affect on us this way.

Enough talking about that.

I'm driving to Aku's right now.He just wanted hangout with me for Christmas.

I brought him a gift.Although it wasn't planned for us to gift eachother something,It'll be nice.

I knock on his door.

"Your here Atsushi."Akutagawa opens the door with a smile.

I greet him with a big smile.

"It's cold Aku.You should wear a scarf."I worry.

"I'll be fine.I don't get cold easily."

"Yeah sure.Have mine."I say putting my scarf on him.

He softly smiles.

"Thank you so much Atsushi."He says before he grabs my face to kiss me.

"I love you Akutagawa."

"I love you too Atsushi."He says pulling me into his apartment.

We used to always go to my apartment.But for the past 5 months,I've been going to Aku's place because he's sick.

I know he can still drive.But I don't want that inconvenience for him.So I drive to his place instead.

I shut the door behind me.

"We're going to go out soon sooo"I alert Aku.

"I brought us a gift Akuuu"I say pulling a small box out of my pocket.

"Heh,ty Atsushi."he thanks.

"And what do u mean by us?"Aku questions.

I smile at him then open the little box.

I grab his hand and put one of the rings on his left hand ring finger.

The tips of his fingers curl a bit from shock.

I put the other ring on my left hand ring finger.

"Heh,it's not a engagement ring don't worry."I reassure.

Aku checks out the ring on his finger.

"It's a promise ring.A promise that I'll always love you."

Aku looks up at me and hugs me tight.

I feel Aku's tears on my left shoulder.

"I don't...wanna die Atsushi.."He says trying not to sound all high pitch and cracky.
