Lucifer's P.O.V.

Man Brielle, let me tell you. Bri and I are finally together what seems to me that took forever. As you should know I love her so much. No offense to Chloe. Chloe well she is taken now to Peirce. He well I really don't know and truly don't care on who or what this guy is.

As for everybody else, they all seem alright. Katherine and Maz are together, but we all seen this coming. Tho Maz doesn't live with me and Bri anymore.

Amenadiel and Linda, they don't talk or better yet don't live together anymore.  Linda was tired of taking care of Charlie, so she kicked out the boys. So Amenadiel and Charlie are in heaven. Oh yea Amenadiel is God now, so Charlie would be well Jesus.

Ah Eve, well nobody talks to her so nobody knows how she is. Ever since she and Maz broke up, we all left her and she moved along with her life.

What seems like a lot has happened, well hate to break it to you, but not much has happened, just the simple things.

"Hello, this sis the police department of Los Angeles. I am here calling, to asked if your still working at the department. Call me back when you get the chance to."

I had gotten a call that I didn't even notice. I quickly heard the message that had sent. I called them back. They answered.

"Ah yes, hello LAPD, I am still working there just may need a new partner to work with." I was not ready to see Chloe, let alone work with her.

"Okay, give me a moment."

I waited what seem like 4 hours but in reality like 5 minutes.

"So it looks like we vant switch your partnership with Chloe Dexter. You either work with her or we can transfer you to a different department" they said. Now I had to make a hard decision. I did not want to get transfer, but on the other hand did not want to work with Chloe.

I signed "I guess I will be working with Chloe." I mean she my ex goddammit, I just couldnt get out off this situation.

"Okay, sounds great! Today later on, you must be at the LAPD or we are going to have to kick you off the crew."

"Okay" I said as I hung up the phone. I knew today was not going to be best day, I mean it will be because I have the Love of my life, and I literally just want to lay in bed with her all day but instead I have to show up to work.

Brielle is still asleep, I am up out of bed, in my boxers. Behind the bar/island pouring myself a bourbon.

The most ravishing, beautiful, generous girl had woken up. One of my botton up thrown on her, some unbutton, some botton.

"Good morning princess" I said as she walked up to me and gave me a kiss."Good morning baby." She touched my back and grab a cup for coffee.

"Oh love, I have to attend work today, so you think you mange being on your own?" She took a sip of her coffee as I started to walk towards the bedroom. "Yea, I will be alright" she said. I walked up the steps and into the closet to get dress.

After I got dress and had received a text from someone. It was Chloe "We need you here for this case." I put my phone away and headed to the living room where Brielle was on the couch drinking her coffee.

I leaned down and gave her a kiss "I'll be back soon babe. Duty calls." I grabbed my keys and headed for the door.

I got outside and got into my car. Drove off into the streets of Los Angeles. The LAPD isn't far from Lux so I got there within minutes.

I headed into the building, down the glass stairs and toward Chloe's desk. I did paused for a very long moment. Took a breath and swallow a gasp of air.

"Hello detective" I said, tried to sound casual. 

"Lucifer's be prepared for this one" she said as she led me out the building and into her car.

She drove us to the scene, which was just a normal apartment house. "What we got" she asked as we walked up into the building.

"Well, it's hard to explain, so have a look." The office brought us into the house and into a bedroom where a man is naked and so is the female.
