As my eyes slowly opened I had noticed a slight pain in my wrist and that I was still in the exact same place as to where I had passed out.
The street was far less than busy except for the moving truck that was still parked across the street. Pain flashed through my body as I struggled to help myself up from the slightly cracked concrete ground. I couldn't help but wonder about who the new neighbor was. As I was finally able to sit up, I looked around at myself to insure that I wasn't horribly hurt. But I noticed a huge purple circle covering my right wrist. Although it was a little painful I decided to ignore it, once I entered my house I was overwhelmed by the mess.
See since me and my mom never speak and since she avoids me I pretty much do most house work and completely raise myself, and she just works and leaves notes and money whenever I need it. I quickly picked up and put out the trash while mopping the grime and dust covered floors, and later on finishing my algebra work. Once I was done, I still had so much time on my hands, so I decided that I would go and introduce myself to the new neighbor. I walked at a slightly faster than normal pace over to the house across the street, I guessed that the person was almost all moved in because the truck that had been there just an hour ago was gone. As I strongly knocked on the front door of the house I heard nothing and as I was almost about to walk away the cream colored door opened with someone letting out a heavy breath.
Once I had my head turned forward my brain shot with a small picture it included an man and a woman with a infant in the middle. The photo felt familiar but I still couldn't make out the people.
