CHAPTER 2:I have something to tell you

When they got into the car,Amelia kept looking at Adrian,she was beyond nervous,her hands were sweaty *Ring Ring* that was her phone,she checked the caller id and saw it was Bella

"Hey Bella" "Amelia,have you told him?" "We are still in the car" "Amy,why are you talking with such a rigid voice?" Amelia didn't answer but Bella guessed it

"You're nervous, aren't you?" "Yes I am,how can I do this?" "You can Amy,I'm a 100% sure my brother likes you, don't you see the way he treats you? He treats you like a queen,Amy just tell him how you feel,ok?" "Ok"

They arrived at a five star restaurant,"Bella I got to go, we're here" "good luck" "Thanks I'll need it",they entered the restaurant and sat down,then a waiter came to their table "Good morning,what would you like to have?

Amelia looked at the menu but her focus wasn't there,she was beyond nervous, "Amy what would you like to have?" Adrian asked but frowned when he saw Amelia was lost in thought,"Amy,Amelia!" "Yes?" She finally answered,"What's wrong Amy? You were lost in thought" "um.... nothing, it's nothing" "you know,if you have anything on your mind,you can tell me" "I know" she smiled warmly

They ordered their food and started eating,but none of them could focus on the food,there was something Adrian needed to tell her,and Amelia also wanted to tell him something

"I need to tell you something" both of them said at the same time shocking each other,"um .....you go first" Adrian said,"No you go first" Amelia said,"No you go first" "No Adrian seriously,you go first" "ok"

"There is something I've been hiding,for the past three weeks to be precise, nobody knows about this,not even Chris or Bella" Adrian said

"Amelia,I.....am engaged" Amelia felt her heart breaking "WHAT!?!" Amelia practically screamed "With who? When? How? Why?" She asked,"calm down,there was a day I met her while coming back from work,but there wasn't any spark,but we met again during my business trip in England,we clicked and we kept in contact,we started dating and yesterday I asked her to marry me"

"But..how long have you guys known each other?" "Three weeks" "THREE WEEKS?!?" Amelia yelled "Adrian, it's only three weeks not years, it's not even up to a month,Adrian you don't know her well enough,Adrian you need to break up with her" "Amelia,you haven't even met her, she's the sweetest person I know" "The sweetest person you know?"

"I'm planning to bring her to the mansion tomorrow evening for her to meet my parents, I'll call your parents so they can attend the dinner,I'm sure you'll love her" "Love her? Adrian you don't even know her" "I know her" "And have you thought of what your parents will say? She might be with you for your money" "

"Amelia,why are you so bothered about this?" Adrian asked,"I ...... Adrian I....." But she couldn't say it,"I'm leaving, I've lost my appetite" Adrian wanted to hold her hand but she dodged it and left

She went to a park and sat down on a bench,she took out her phone and called Bella,"Bella" she said with a croaked and sad voice,and Bella sensed it "what's wrong? Are you crying? Where are you? Where's Adrian?" She bombarded her with questions,"please come pick me up" "where are you?" Bella asked
