"I can't believe that my daughter is going to be in the right one!" Exclaimed Maeve's mother as she gave her a hug, with Susannah and laurel around

"I don't know Erin, I don't think it's a good fitted show for our girl." Said Susannah "it's just not something that she would do."

"Oh please, she was destined for this."

"Yeah but what does Conrad think of this?" Asked laurel as she looked at Maeve "you are going to tell him are you?"

Every summer Maeve and her mom would spend the summer at Susannah's beach house along with laurel and her two children, Maeve and Conrad were both born close in age, but a year apart.

"I'll tell him." Said Maeve "he may not approve but it's still a good idea to tell him."

"You are still doing to deb ball... aren't you?" Asked Susannah

"Of course, I wouldn't miss it for the world."

This summer, Susannah and Maeve's mother thought it would be a good idea to sign her up for the debutante ball, of course with Conrad as the escort

"Good, that white dress shouldn't go to waste." Said Susannah as she gave you a hug "but I am very proud of you."

"You're kidding right?" Asked Jeremiah as he laughed at your statement

"Yeah there is no way that you would be a contestant on The right one." Said Steven as he did a belly laugh

"I think it's a great idea." Said belly as she walked towards you "knock them dead Mae, I know your going to do great."

"Thanks Isabel, glad that someone has some decency to congratulate me." Said Maeve as she gave belly a hug before walking away

It was the night of the deb ball and Maeve was getting ready along with the other deb girls, Nicole one of the deb girls walked up the Maeve

"I can't believe your not coming back next summer." Said Nicole as she gave Maeve a side hug, Maeve gave her a returning hug from the side.

"Yeah but at least I'll still be under the sun regardless." You said as you were applying your lip gloss "im going to miss everybody." Said Maeve

"I'm sure Susannah and all them will be watching from home." Said Nicole "have you told Conrad?"

Maeve froze, she hasn't indeed told Conrad because she was afraid of how he will react. This was the summer that Maeve had found out that he has developed a crush on her. She placed the lip gloss wand back into the tube before turning to Nicole

"I haven't... told him... yet."

"Girl you have to tell him."

"I know it's just... I don't want to hurt his feelings that's all." Said Maeve "he really sweet."

Nicole gave Maeve the look,

"Fine I'll tell him tonight."

"You look pretty tonight." Said Conrad as he looked you in the eyes, arms interlocked with one another. Maeve looked down before whispering.

"Can we talk? It's kinda important."

"Yeah sure." Said Conrad as he smiled, Maeve looked to the side trying her best to figure out what to say

"I'm leaving." Said Maeve as she sat on the foot of Conrad's bed, in a oversized t-shirt with some shorts.

"What do you mean? You are coming back next summer right?"

"That's the thing..." said Maeve, she looked down at the paper in her hand before handing it to Conrad

"What's this?"

"Just read it."

Conrad looked at Maeve worried as he took the paper and read it

"Your going to be a contestant on the Right one?" Asked Conrad as he looked up at Maeve  "please tell me your joking."

"I'm not."

"What about us?" Asked Conrad

"Let's make a deal..." said Maeve "if I come back next summer single, we will make whatever this is between us work."

"And if you don't?"

"Then you have to let me go."

With that you grabbed the paper out of his grasps before walking out
