It all started on a cold December day. Jason a fourth grade boy in Science class looks out in the hall, and notices someone's out there. "Mrs. James someone is at the door." "Well Jason, my question is why are you just sitting there go answer the door." "Oh uh, yes ma'm." Jason goes and opens the door and in comes a girl. "Jason Rodriguez is leaving" "Bye Jason" says Mrs. James. On Jason's way out he say bye to his friends Adan, Kevin, Stevie, and Sam. As Jason leaves class he's sees the girl waiting for him, this peaks Jason's curiosity. "What are you doing aren't you suppose to go back to class?" asks Jason, "Yeah, but I'm waitin' on you, the told me to make sure you got there, and that's exactly what I'll do." says the girl. "What's your name?" Jason asks "Oh my name is Elzabeth, Elizabeth Noel. My friends just call me Liz though." replies the girl. As they walk down the hall they walk into a teacher, "What're you two doing out of class?" "Don't worry Mr. Jones" says Elizabeth "I'm just taking my pal Jason here to the office; he's leaving early." "Do you have proof that is what you're actually doing Elizabeth?" "Yes sir here's a note from Mrs. James saying so." "Okay, but Elizabeth once you're finished hurry and get back to class." "Will do Mr. Jones." As they're walking to the office "So Jason, what're you leaving for?" "I couldn't tell you myself I guess an eye doctors appointment, my vision has been getting kinda blurry." "So you're going to get glasses?" "Hopefully not, but if I have to I will. Heck I'd rather get them than contacts." "Why I heard contacts are so much easier to wear?" "I don't know. I guess because I'm afraid I'll fall asleep with my contacts in on accident." "Sounds reasonable." then there was a brief moment of silence. "Liz..." "Yeah?" "What's the real reason you waited for me to get out of class?" "I already told you the reason." "Is that the only reason, or the only reason you can think of." "Jason, what makes you think there is some reasoning behind me waiting?" "I don't know... Is there a reason that you waited on me?" "Honestly...Yes there is. I've heard rumors and stories about you, and I wanted to see if they were true. Not just that, but I like to make new friends so when I say the opportunity I took it." "What kinda rumors?" "Oh just rumors like you're mean, or that you use terrible language, and stuff like that." "Well Liz, you don't know truly. What if what you see isn't the real me, but simply a charade that I'm letting you see." "Normally people would agree, but I have a feelin that your not the person that say you are." "What makes you say that?" "Oh just a feelin I have, but don't go proving me wrong or nothin. Anyway here we are see you around." As she turned around, and walked away Jason couldn't help but think why he has met that girl. On his way to the eye doctor Jason was quiet; he couldn't help but wonder. Was this girl going to be someone important, or just another random encounter. All Jason could think about was the night before, when he got down on his knees, put his hands together, bowed his head, and prayed to God...He prayed that God would send him an angel that would help him solve all the confusing problems in life, and make it in this world without being alone. He couldn't help, but wonder was this girl God's answer to his prayer.
