The rain almost drenched the city of Seoul. The sky an everlasting blanket of grey with the winds howling and banging against the frail glass windows. But the city never took a break. Pedestrians, office workers and city dwellers alike continued their usual journeys to their same old destinations, with dark umbrellas shielding them from the downpour. A couple of uniformed men and young students were trapped inside some local electronics store, gawking at the flat screen televisions that featured the drastic news.

“A body has been discovered in one of the silent alleys in the city of Seoul. The corpse was reportedly discovered by a child who was passing by sharp at 8:15 AM sharp. Officers stated that the body is of an artist named Moon Seongmin who was in her mid twenties. The body was found, slaughtered in a gruesome way. This is reportedly the....”

“Third time in a row...” he growled as she switched off the television. His voice dripped utter disappointment and rage.

“Third time in a row! What are our forces doing?!”
“Officer Kim! Calm down, we can't discuss this if it is all chaotic over here!”
“How can I stay calm after losing three young, innocent lives?! Officer MacQuoid, please be serious!”

The said woman took a heavy gust of wind through and out her as she clenched her fist tight. “I can understand you Kim, but you need to settle your temper, your anger won't solve this case or the killer won't stop committing cruel murders!”

The man uttered nothing after hearing that. She was right. Anger will solve absolutely nothing. But those three women? What about them? Kim was frustrated having all these thoughts tangled in his mind. “Our detectives can't find any clue...” he said only to receive a small nod of disappointment from the latter.

“We have no choice other than her.”
“Her?”
“Our very special investigator. We need to contact her in order to solve this twisted case.”
“Wait..Her?! Wasn't she suspended, Officer Kim?”

The man paused his conversation mid way to take a heavy breath. The female was right, she is suspended for some stupid, false accusations. But without her, the police force is nothing. She is a gem that nobody can lose. “I have to have a conversation with Madame Song in order to get her back in the department, since she is the head having me as her assistant, she wouldn't neglect my request.”

“Are you sure officer Kim, because it can be the other way around since the accusation against her is quite severe.”
“I have the knowledge about the incident, MacQuoid! But I have nothing else to do since no one can handle this case better than her.”

The female shook her head in defeat. Arguing about all of these will be a waste of time. The department is in need of her intelligence. Her brilliance. Her help to find this monsterios criminal.

“Officer MacQuoid, will you kindly bring the files about the accusations against her?” said the assistant, his massive self making their way to their seat to continue fumbling with the papers of some important files and documentaries. “I will need those files in the meeting I'll be arranging with Madame Song.” stated the man, his eyes tracing the words written on the slightly toned and torn papers.

“Yes officer!” exclaimed the woman before she placed her right hand across her chest. Her fist clenched tight as she bowed respectfully to her superior before marching out of his office to complete the task that was given to her.

“I will bring you back, Park. I will.”
