So Mun slowly opened his eyes, quickly wincing them closed again not a second later when the light spiked his headache into the forefront of his mind, eliciting a small moan to leave his throat.

Why did his head hurt so much? He was pretty sure that he hadn't drunk anything, and his days had been fairly calm lately, he hadn't offended anyone or seriously fought in a while now. With a sigh he reached up to run his palms over his face, pausing in confusion when he felt something sticky over his hand, he opened his eyes cautiously to look.
Brownish red, thick liquid was drying out on his fingers, and now that he was aware of it, he could feel it caking above his brow, causing the skin to feel weirdly dry and stiff.
That would explain the pain then, he must have hit his head. He hadn't done much tumbling lately, perhaps he had fallen while dozing? He shook his head and winced while his ears rang, finally taking note of his surroundings.

The first to catch his eye was the dust, particles floating in the soft golden light, streaming in through the window, placed high in the ceiling, almost a skylight. The ceiling wasn't too low to the ground, but neither was it high, old splintering wood beams barely kept the balance between the ends of the room, the walls were covered in a peeling paper, cracked and yellowed with age, but while he looked, he thought that they might have been blue at one point. There was only one door in the room, which likely led to the main area of the house, whether this was a bedroom or a storage area before, it definitely was not the main room. Which meant that escape meant more than getting past the first door.

Along one wall there stood a row of shelves, leading up the wall towards the ceiling. On it there were only a few items, a jar or two, a brown paper package, several potatoes, So Mun was reminded of a video game that he had played once, with the sparse, random scattering of the items. He was almost surprised to not see a knife randomly laying about.
The door suddenly opening caused him to gasp at being startled, inhaling a lungful of dust in doing so and starting a sneezing fit.

"Yah! Would it kill you to knock ajusshi!"
So Mun glared at the old man as he hobbled into the room, apparently still determined to play the helpless elder. So Mun knew better though, after his previous experience with evil spirits, he would have to be stupid not to know that their strength overpowered their hosts weakness.

The spirit stood there in the doorway, with an unsettlingly soft smile on his face. "Did you sleep well?"

So Mun felt chills run down his spine, seeing an evil spirit behave calmly never bode well, he preferred when they immediately wanted to fight, since he knew how to handle that and could respond in kind.
"What do you want?"

The old man's face crinkled in a soft grin, looking genuinely delighted with Mun's reaction. Old creep.

"Ah, was I supposed to want something from you beforehand? You'll have to forgive me, I'm rather behind the times and not up to date on the way you youngsters play."

So Mun wasn't sure how to respond, he wasn't in the mood for banter with the thing, and he was beginning to get irritated.
"I don't have time for this, do you want to fight? We should get it over with then, I had plans for today."
He glared up from behind his bangs, glad that he was able to keep his voice from wavering. He really didn't want to fight right now, his head was throbbing so much that he could barely think, and no doubt this spirit was at full strength. Although, thinking about that, it was rather strange that he wasn't already dead.
What does this spirit want from me? Is this a trap to lure the others?  Memories flashed through his mind, of a warehouse, with the other counters lying about unconscious, and smoke everywhere. His friends, about to die, all because they tried to save him.
He couldn't let that happen again, whatever this spirit wanted, he had to end this before it got messy.
"What do you want?" He repeated himself, was it the third time?

The man seemed to be able to read his racing mind, a trickle of mirth displayed in his eyes as he looked back at Mun, smile never falling. "I need you out of the way for a while. I have some things that I must do without the interference of Yung. After I have finished.... I may let you go." His grin turned crooked, black overtaking his eyes as he spoke. Then he slowly began to approach. " In the meantime, i hope that you will find your accommodations suitable, while you sleep."
Mun barely registered the impact of being hit, before blacking out again.
