"As you all may know following the explosion at Bumbart Bank, firefighters were quickly able to put out any remaining flames. Also, as it seems finally reported there are four known victims of this tragic incident. There were, however; indeed three unharmed survivors. One was seen walking out of the building with a lack of clothes shortly after the explosion. This was reported to be a Defy Force agent sent to unarm the robbers, and safely evacuate the hostages. The others were none other than two of the robbers themself, already being taken in for questioning. It was in fact reported that the agent was seen entering an ambulance, where we can only assume he was brought to a hospital for proper medical rehabilitation. Many have been speculating that this may have been some sort of inside job, a deal the Defy Force agent had with the robbers. Could this be tied to the events of his father? Some others think it was some kind of miracle that the agent had survived. For now, we wait for answers as the survivors take time to recover. This has been-"

Either there was an angel by my side, or I'm dead. I know I'm not dead, because I'd be by my buddies' side. But last thing I remember is seeing him painted on the walls of that vault, with that lady I let down.

"Nurse!" I yell out.

I need out of here, but most of all I need to figure out how the fuck I survived that explosion. They got me hooked up to all this shit though, I don't even know what half of it is. I'm unscathed, I'm not hurt, I feel fine.

I feel fucking angry-

My best fucking friend what lost to some damn freak?
It was supposed to be an easy job, easy!

Did we get played?

Why the hell am I trying to negotiate facts when I can just find answers? Where the hell is that nurse, isn't there a button I can push, why isn't anyone with me anyways? A bug catches my eye flying up onto the wall beside me, a moth. I kick it with the bottom of my shoe, smushing it against the wall.

Finally a lady comes in, with a name tag I can't read from where I'm lying.

"Get this shit off me!" I demand, I don't have time for this bullshit.

"I'm sorry, but that's not a good idea." They say, but how do they know what's a good idea? I know me, I feel fine, I survived a fucking explosion!

"I was told to alert the police when you woke up." She say- the fucking police? I can't be too mad, all fairness she isn't a bad looker at all, but what-
"What am I some threat all of a sudden?" I say out loud.

"Sir no! I don't know! I'm sorry, I apologize really this is just my job."

I didn't anticipate she'd take that so personally, I should apologize but-

She starts taking off all the shit hooked up to me, I had a needle in my arm too I guess, didn't even notice.

"Thanks." I say, she needed to do this though. "Is there a man waiting outside for me out the room?"
If there is she'd get in trouble for telling me, and she knows that too, why she says nothing.

"Am I at least free to go?" I ask as she finishes unhooking me.

"You are free to exit the room." She replies with an immediate hesitance, she's nervous about something.

I got nothing to worry about, if there was a threat waiting for me out that door, we would have skipped the kind gestures and went right to a light in my face and iron around my wrist. If this was some sort of inside job, I wasn't a part of it, but people sure are afraid of me right now. Maybe I should be afraid of myself, I have no idea what I am anymore.
