The sound of a shattering glass broke the silence. When I went to check I found Jinki staring at the broken pieces of glass on the floor. His brows knitted into a frown, his lips forming a thin line and he was waving his hand trying to fix the mess he obviously made.

"What happened?" I asked which made him turn towards me, a lopsided smile formed on his lips. He seemed so concentrated in whatever he was doing that he didn't even notice me came in

"Um... I was trying to make things easier but something went wrong." He confessed and before I could say anything in response he already beat me into it. "But don't worry I'll fix this. Just a sec."

He waved his hands again, the pieces of glass floated in the air, wobbled a bit before falling back on the floor and breaking into even smaller pieces. When he volunteered to wash the dishes for me I should have expected this would happen.

His efforts made me smile and shake my head in frustration at the same time. Yep, that's my boyfriend right there. He's the adorable, clumsy, squishy being named Lee Jinki.

With a sigh Jinki picked up the broken glass with his bare hands and I got worried he might hurt himself. My worry intensified when I heard him hiss in pain and noticed the blood trickle down his forefinger.

"Are you ok?" I asked worried about the extent of his injury. He gave me a smile which made my heart beat frantically. I guess I still haven't got used to that smile and I wonder if I will ever be.

"Yeah, I'm fine," he said before finishing what he started.

"Leave it," I said. "I'll clean it up later. I'll get the first aid. Wait here for me. And please don't do anything. Stay still before you hurt yourself again."

"It's alright. I heal fast," he said but I brushed it aside. Even if he heals fast, it will still hurt for sure so of course I had to do something.

When he realized I wasn't paying attention, he pulled me by my waist and trapped me on the wall with his face only inches from mine.

"I said there is no need," he said more serious this time. It's a rare sight when Jinki turns serious. And if he does I am always at the losing side of an argument. Like always, it made me stop and do as he says.

He raised his finger making me see the cut which was almost healed. A few seconds later, the wound was gone like it was never there; leaving no traces, not even a scar. "See? I heal fast." The goofy smile is back and it's blinding just like the sun in the summer.

"O-ok," I stuttered because he was too close and it's unnerving.

Jinki didn't let me go even if I already agreed not to make a fuss over his cut. His face hovers in front of me and his lips are dangerously close to mine. The thought of him kissing me makes me nervous but at the same time it makes me excited. Only Jinki can make me feel different things at once.

I held my breath in anticipation of what was to come. He gave me a peck on the lips- just a peck but enough to make my cheeks burn. His deep chuckle made me blush even more.

"I'm sorry." he said which brought my thought back to the mess he made earlier. I almost forgot about that and sometimes I wonder if he intentionally kisses me to get my mind off things to his advantage.

"It's ok but you don't really have to help. I get worried when you keep hurting yourself."

He gave me a sheepish grin which tells me that I shouldn't expect him to stop trying to help me anytime soon. He said it's the only way he can repay me for staying at my place for free. But there really is no need. I like his company so of course I don't mind. Even if he lazed around I wouldn't really mind and honestly that would have been way better than him getting into accidents every now and then.
