William, Harry and I stood looking at the grave of our mother. Tomorrow would be when school starts. And these days it was a rarity to get all three of us together. I laid down a white rose as did the boys and we stood holding each others hands. Turning I walked away back down to the boat."Roe." William called and i looked back "How are you doing?" he asked
"I'm fine." he shared a look with Harry "What?"
"It's just ever since we lost her, you never really said much." Harry voiced and I folded my arms "We just want to know...."
"I told you I'm fine. I dealt with my grief, everything I do is me dealing with it. I live my life, love, have fun, do what I want...within reason. What I wish everyone would stop doing is telling me how proud she'd be. I already know, I feel it." I got into the boat and my brothers followed and we rowed back.

School started back up again and I was back in the safety and comfort of Scotland and attending classes. Liam left for a little bit to film his part for the new film. I sat in my dorm room with Melissa.
"Do you ever think you'll move in with William?" Melissa questioned randomly. I looked up from my work confused
"What brought that on?"
"I don't know. I guess i just figure that with most relationship there would be the moving in part, or so I hear. Life is cruel enough not to give me anyone special yet." she sighed dramatically
"Well I don't know." I lean back "Liam and I had the conversation about the future."
"The marriage one?" she gasped
"Among others. It began with what would hypothetically happen if we were to step back or stay in. Which then lead to marriage and then children. it was about 1am by the time we fell asleep." I admitted
"What was that like?"
"Weird. The bubble burst the honeymoon phase of the outside world and reality came in." looking up wistfully, Melissa sat on my bed.
"And?"
"We're still together aren't we?" I shake my head trying to clear it "Oh and he met my grandparents."
"Shut up" she shoved my leg making me look at her "What else aren't you tell me?"
"I met his parents and that's about it." I shrug
"This is getting serious and I mean like almost marriage serious. Even I know only the most special of people meet the grandparents. Did it go well...wait who am i kidding of course it did, you two are besotted with each other like your grandparents. Oh Kieran will not be pleased."
"What does Kieran have to do with anything?" I question
"Oh please, the boy has a crush on you. He's been secretly wanting you to break up with William so he can finally ask you out. Personally I told him no chance, like I said, besotted. But sometimes some boys will not be told." I lent up resting on my elbows
"Keiran?" she nodded "He's a friend."
"I know that everyone in this school knows that except for him."
"Why'd you have to tell me that. Now it will be awkward. I like having him as a friend." I pout what should I do or say around him not that I was no longer ignorant.
"You don't have to say anything." Our gaze turns to the door "I get it." he walked off
"Oh, Kieran." Melissa stops me from following
"Leave him. He needed to hear it. Hopefully he can move on now and save himself the heartbreak."
------
End of October came quickly and Liam was back in Scotland when Wills called me asking to see me. Liam let me borrow his flat so we could speak in private while he was out. I made us drinks and joined him on the sofa.
"Nice place this is."
"I know, I stay over sometimes." I say blowing on the coffee I had made for myself
"Got a drawer yet." I narrowed my eyes at him and he just smiled
"So what is that you so urgently needed to speak to me about?" i wondered crossing my legs. William adjusted himself thinking about what to say.
"I wanted your opinion, I want to propose to Kate." He admitted to me and I put my coffee down squealing
"It's about damn time" I say "I thought you never pluck up the courage." he raised his eyebrow at me.
"Not what I was expecting."
"Will, lord knows why you've waited this long even I know that you love her. You either been too bone headed to stupid not to do it sooner. It should have never gotten to you two breaking up for even a minute. She loves you that much she's been to hell and back just to prove it. Anyone who is not scared off by all the baggage we come with is a keeper." I rant to him
"So you think it's a good idea?" i slap him around the head "Ouch, okay. I got it."
"Any idea's when you're going to do it? Before or after the protocols that involve a royal engagement
"No, not a clue and after she has to say yes first."
"You're literally begging for another clip around the ear aren't you? Of course she'll say yes. She's lasted this long, I can't imagine anything else. She's helped heal you make you better. Trust me if anyone need healing its the three of us. Besides she's the sister I've always wanted, you better not screw this up for me William." he started laughing "I'm serious I need help handling the two of you and she's the perfect fit."
"Oh you've convinced me." he jokes
"And you have to promise me that when she does say yes. I'm the first one you call. No matter where you are. The first do you understand me?"
"Yes, boss." I hum and pick up my coffee drinking again
