For lack of a better place, I just remembered this poem that I wrote two years ago:
I remember those little conversations we had
You’d come up with silly questions just to get us going
We talked for hours, just about nothing
And after, I’d go home feeling like I’m flying
You’re the first person to ever make me feel like that
I can feel it, the time is going to fly by
So after this is over, I want you to remember
That I will miss you…
And your smile, the way you held my hand
I put my head on your chest you had your arms around me
And the way that you call me pretty, awesome, amazing and sweet
I’ll miss the way I could look into your eyes
And know for a second everything is going to be alright
And now that your gone, all I think about is you
And the way that you used to
Be the only one who could ever
make me feel happy when I’m sad
The days are getting longer, your image is getting smaller
And all I can do, is stand here and remember
your smile, the way you held my hand
I put my head on your chest you had your arms around me
And the way that you call me pretty, awesome, amazing and sweet
I’ll miss the way I could look into your eyes
And know for a second everything is going to be alright
For a while now
Ive had this idea
Of you and us, how we could be so happy
But now that, your fading away, I know I miss
your smile, the way you held my hand
I put my head on your chest you had your arms around me
And the way that you call me pretty, awesome, amazing and sweet
I’ll miss the way I could look into your eyes
And know for a second everything is going to be alright
I’ll miss the way, that I know that you’re perfect.
