Flashback

David pinched the bridge of his nose when Bora told him that the model Jungkook was unreachable. She had tried several times that morning and in the afternoon, he wasn't answering the phone.

David frowned; he trusted Bora but this kid was going to end their agency.

"You know I don't like to keep problems on the payroll," he informed Bora once again, "Tony told me that boy is always late, and sometimes, like today doesn't show up for shoots," he shook his head leaning back in his chair.

Bora nodded, "I know, but.." she took a deep breath, "He is extremely talented. He does very well in every project he is involved in and our clients have never complained about him," she looked down at her hands playing with the hem of her skirt, she looked back up, "He's a precious gem that needs to be polished."

David nodded, "I understand that but the terms and expectations were clearly written out in the contract he signed," David stated pointing to a stack of papers on his desk.

Bora folded her hands, "David, I know. I also know how precious this agency is to you," she looked away for a second and decided what she was going to say next. "I have worked here for many years, I love this agency. I have trained some of the best and worst models this place has seen and when I saw Jeon Jungkook is good for this agency... I mean it," she sat back looking at David waiting for his answer.

Bora hoped that her speech had persuaded David but she could tell by the look on his face that he was unmoved by her words. He had made his choice. She looked on as the man didn't reply, he shook his head.

"I'm sorry Bora, I trust you and your opinions but I can't keep him on," David informed her. He was tired of Jungkook being unreliable, "There are dozens out that are just like him and I'm sure they can show up on time."

"No, please," Bora begged, "Give him one more chance," She couldn't believe what he was saying if anything Jungkook was bringing attention to the agency.

David shook his head putting his hand up that was his final decision, he thought Bora was wasting her time trying to polish a gem that was really just a rock. Bora furrowed her brow confused Was he getting rid of Jungkook altogether or just for the current project they were working on?

"No more, you can leave," David said cutting off whatever she was going to say to him. He had had enough of this topic.

Bora nodded, she stood feeling defeated. There wasn't anything more she could say to convince him that Jungkook was a good fit. If the younger man had just listened to her or come to her when he was in trouble she may have been able to save him from David but she left the room unable to defend him anymore.

David rubbed his face as the door closed behind Bora, he scooted forward pressing the intercom, "Bring me the resume of a model named Jungkook and I want it now!" he screeched not giving his secretary time to respond.

He snatched a file off his desk opening it, he attempted to read the resume inside. David closed the pages and tossed the folder back on the desk. He rubbed his face leaning back in his chair. All the stress was getting to David, he was exhausted, and maybe he was too quick to fire the model. He lied when he said he could find one better. He knew the boy relied on more than his good looks like most models.

A few minutes later, he heard a knock on the door and thought it was his secretary. But as soon as the door opened wide, he saw his girlfriend, Heejin, standing at the doorway, wearing a sexy dress and smiling seductively. Why does she have to show up now? He was not in the mood. He was not good enough to control his anger and if he let out his anger to the wrong person that might cause another argument.
