Olivia's pov:
The days leading up to my birthday were a whirlwind of emotions and anticipation. The autumn breeze carried a sense of excitement as the city adorned itself with shades of red and gold. Each morning I woke up with a mixture of curiosity and wonder. Wondering what my friends had planned for me, and if Ivan would come. It was both thrilling and nerve-wracking not knowing what they were doing.
Classes and assignments continued to keep me occupied, but the thought of Ivan's potential visit lingered at the back of my mind. Our conversations had grown deeper, and his surprise announcement had left my heart racing. Could it be possible that he was going to be there on my birthday?
My nights were spent chatting with Ivan sharing our thoughts and dreams. His voice had become a familiar comfort, and the days seemed to pass faster as my excitement grew, and I found myself becoming more aware of "the butterflies in my stomach", a mixture of happiness nervousness and hope.

The day of my flight to Edinburgh had finally arrived. My heart pounded with a mixture of excitement and anxiety as I double-checked my bags and made sure everything was in order. I had never done something so spontaneous before, but my desire to see Olivia in person again had outweighed any reservations I might had.
The airport was a bustling hub of activity, and I found myself caught in a sea of strangers, each one with their destinations, stories and own life. I checked in and settled into my seat on the plane my thoughts were consumed by Olivia's smile and the anticipation of finally seeing her face-to-face again. The 16 hours inside of a plane and getting the connection flight would be completely worth it.

Spreen's pov:
The moment had finally arrived as the plane touched down in Edinburgh. My heart was nervously pounding with excitement and nervousness.
The crisp autumn air greeted me as I stepped outside, and I called a taxi to take me to Olivia's apartment. During the drive, my head was a mess, as I constantly thought about what would I tell her when I finally saw her.
As I stepped out of the cab, I took a deep breath as I stood in front of the building. This was the moment I had been waiting for weeks. Her friend Vic was waiting for me at the door.
Olivia's pov:
Emma dropped me and Jen off at the grocery shop, for us to get some drinks, while she and Molly went to get the cake. As we walked through the aisles, Jen and I exchanged playful banter and laughter.
-So, Oliv, I have to say, this birthday surprise thing is driving me crazy.- Jen grinned, her eyes were sparkling with mischief as always.
