Beeeeeep, Beeeeeeep! Beeeeeeeep!!!

The sound of a super loud train kept going until finally I turned my alarm off.

"Ugghhhh!" I groaned, grabbing my phone from the nightstand.

I checked my schedule to see what I had planned today. I kept scrolling until I saw what today was. My eyes widened.

"IT'S THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!" I leaped out of bed and went to my closet.

I pulled out clothes and threw them on the floor until I found my uniform. I went across the hall to go to the bathroom to wash up.

I took a short shower and brushed my
H/L H/C hair. I grabbed a comb and carefully brushed my ears and tail. I only brushed them in case I got into a fight. I usually hide my ears so I can wear things like headbands. I grabbed a F/C headband from my bedroom, and slipped it on.

I ran downstairs to see mom sitting at the table with two plates of F/B. She saw me and immediately straightened up.

"Good morning!! Happy first day of school. I made your favorite, F/B!" She exclaimed.

I sat down at the table, and she slid the plate/bowl in front of me.

I quickly ate and went to brush my teeth and put on my uniform.

The uniform was a dress with a white top with a light blue bow and a light blue short skirt that matched the bow. To be honest, it looks like one of those outfits from that anime, "Sailor Moon."

I was about to head downstairs when I got a text.

Daniel: Hi N/N, are you excited for your first year at Phoenix Drop High?

Daniel was my older cousin. He is only a year older, but it counts. He's always there for me no matter what, while I try to do the same for him.

Y/N: Yassss it's going to be awesome!!

Y/N: ....So are you going to meet me at my house or do I meet you at school.

Daniel: My friends want to meet you so how about I come to your house with my friends? :D

Y/N: K sounds good!

Daniel: 😁☺️

I turned off my phone and walked downstairs. I grabbed my backpack, which was on the staircase, and met my mom there.

"Oh sweetheart, it's your first day of high school. I'm so excited for you! Can I please take a picture?" Mom asked with hope in her eyes.

"No, mom, I'm too old for that. Besides, I'm going to be late!" I explained, hoping it would get her off my back.
