He sat in the chair fiddling with his tail. Its smooth, olive skin length; the electric purple swirled; the tuft of lavender fur at the end similar to that of a donkey's tail. He wagged it to and fro in an attempt to amuse himself.
He heard the background noise of someone talking loudly on stage but he had put his earplugs in to try and dull the chatter of the crowd. The person seemed to be explaining the process by which the exam would proceed. Yes he was here to partake in the U.A. physical exam. He had managed to pass the written, and may or may not have given too many spider facts in it.
Kicking his feet in rhythm with his tail wags seemed to make him happy to watch. It enticed him enough to where he failed to notice that the person on the stage was wrapping things up until the crowd erupted in a loud roar. He could only cower, holding his ears until they stopped. By then he was growing upset. He stared up at the person on stage.
He wore black leather all over, leather jacket, leather pants, leather boots, even leather coated headphones. But on his neck was a strange device that seemed to work as a sound amplifier. He would look decently cool if not for his obnoxious long hair pulled up in a sharp cone similar to that of a capuchon. To top the odd look off he had some strange glasses with white obtuse triangle frames that held duke mustard yellow lenses.
He seemed to have caught the eye of him and the yellow man waved vigorously, a friendly smile wide on his face. The boy sheepishly waved back and sank into his chair. He seemed embarrassed but that seemed to calm his breathing heart enough for the drumming in his head to quiet.
After a bit more of the man talking to the crowd everyone began to file out of the doors. Many of them held the pamphlet close to their chest with their ecstatic grins on their faces. But he just held a neutral face and walked outside.
