; Surprise!

It was a crisp, winter night. The window is slightly cracked open to let the cold air lightly breeze through the room with the Cream Brown colored walls, dark brown hardwood floors. There was a slight smell of vanilla spreading through the bedroom, not too strong, yet not too faint. The room wasn't that.. special, it was rather boring but still cozy. A twin sized bed placed against the right corner of the room, a nightstand with a couple of figures on it accompanied with a lamp and a nightstand next to the closet door.

"Ughhh, I need some coffee.." the pink haired boy groans, leaning over the papers scattered all across the desk of his bedroom, burying his face in his arms. There was a slight pause after his complaint, so silent that you could hear a pin drop.

After a good 30 seconds, next to him a blonde curly haired boy pats his back, letting out small laughs.

"It's not funny!", the pink-haired boy jerks up from leaning on the desk to playfully smack the older's shoulder, causing him to stop patting his back almost immediately.

"Yeesh Felix.. calm down." the older sighs, dusting his shoulder off. "I told you to get your studying done earlier. Look at you now, up at 11pm having ME tutor you while I could be sleeping right now".

Mmm, I don't get much sleep anyways, it's fine.

No response, silence again. The blonde notices Felix's head is down a second time, but this time he heard small sniffles..so he tapped his arm lightly, a little worried, "Lix.. you okay?".

There was a final sniffle before Felix jumped into his arms,squeezing him tight as he sobbed, which startled the blonde.

Felix lifts his head up from the blonde's chest, leaving a wet spot from his salty tears on the black shirt the blonde was wearing.

Felix was a pretty crier... he revealed his wet puffy eyes and his pretty pink lips that curled into a frown, almost matching the perfect pink shade of his hair.

"Channnn!!", the pink haired whined out, "I-I'm gonna fail..this damn t-test.. And my mom.. i-is gonna kill me!" He hiccuped between a few words due to how much he was crying.

Chan sighs, now kneeling down a little to be at Felix's height and he wipes his tears away lightly with his thumb, clicking his tongue in his mouth and shaking his head.

"You won't fail Felix, I promise. I'll make sure of it", the older reassures the younger in a gentle tone.

He takes in a deep breath while nodding and using his sleeve of his sweater to wipe off the remaining tears Chan missed.

"Say, how about we go to a cafe? I could grab you some coffee if that helps", the blonde softly smiles, revealing his adorable dimples as he grabs his keys off the desk.

It was the year 2016, spring. Cherry blossoms blooming, the chirping of all the different kinds of bugs. The sun was beaming on all of the students walking home, bicycling and playing with their friends on the playground outside of the school. All you could hear was multiple conversations and a bunch of laughing. Felix was in 8th grade at the time, he was bicycling on his way home, filled with glee to show his mother the score he got on his math test today..

Well you see, every normal parent would think an 80 on a test was pretty good right?
