Ben 10: Final Destination

Chapter 3

Ben and Gwen went into their car and Gwen told him where to go. They arrived at the Bellwood Cemetery, they got out of the car. "Why are we here, Gwen?" Ben asked. "There's something I need to show you." Gwen said. She opened the gate and they both went inside. They went up to a grave that says "Here lies, Lauern Paul". "Lauern Paul? What about her?" Ben asked. "Remember one of the High Schools in Bellwood had a school shooting?" Gwen asked. "Yeah, wasn't that a year ago?" Ben said. "There was a rumor of Lauern having a vision of that school shooting, and she was a student of that school." Gwen said. "And that's not all. Around 24 years ago, a New York high school student named Alex Browning said that he had a vision of the Flight 180 explosion. He freaked out so bad that he and some others were forced off the plane. They soon realized that Alex's premonition was correct." Gwen said.

"So why are you so worried about my premonition?" Ben asked. "It's not the end of that story. Soon after, the Flight 180 survivors started to die off one by one like a pattern. Through the past 3 decades, some other people have experienced the same butterfly effect. According to the events, those people were supposed to die in that catastrophe, so Death was killing them off in the order they would have died. Since you had a vision of that train accident and saved some people's lives, we are now part of Death's design." Gwen said. "Oh no." Ben said as he put his palm of his hand on his forehead in overwhelming. "Us and those other passengers' lives are in grave danger now." Gwen said. Ben starts panicking. "Why is this happening to us? This is too much! I don't think I can save everyone in time!" Ben said. "Ben, calm down." Gwen said. "This isn't the right time to be calm, Gwen!" Ben said. "Our lives are literally on the line! There's no way to escape Death!" Ben continued. "There is a way, but it's not easy." A calm eerie voice said. An eerie black guy showed up and he spooked Ben.

"Agh! Where did you come from? I didn't even notice- Wait, you know about Death's design?" Ben asked. The man nodded. "So tell us how to beat it!" Ben said. "Death usually breaks its own rules, but bringing new life or taking a life will stop Death's design." The man said. "Uh, thanks?" Gwen said. "Good luck, Ben Tennyson." The man said. They both looked at each other. "Hold the phone, how did you know my...?" Ben said but he turned around and noticed the man was gone. "New life? What does that mean?" Gwen said. "Taking a life? Does that mean killing someone? I'm a hero not a murder." Ben said. Then Ben starts moaning and goes down to his knees. "Ben, what's wrong?" Gwen asked. Ben started to have a vision. In his premonition, he sees extraterrestrial technology, space weaponry, and the logo of his watch. "Plumbers HQ!" Ben yelled. "What?" Gwen said in confusion. "Someone next on Death's list is going to die in Plumbers HQ!" Ben shouted. Ben starts running out of the cemetery. "Ben, wait! What if your premonition is a trap?" Gwen said. "We can't let Death win, we have a city to protect from threats! It's hero time!" Ben said.

Ben quickly glides through the air to Plumbers HQ. They entered the lair and started looking for Max, they spotted him up ahead. "Grandpa!" Ben shouted. "Ben, Gwen, there you are!" Max said. They rushed over to him, they took a moment to catch their breath. "Perfect timing, our two Plumber agents want to see you." Max said. "There's no time! Some people and our lives are in danger!" Ben said. "Don't worry, it won't be long." Max said. "But Grandpa, if we talk too long, people are going to die!" Gwen said. Max shoves his teen grandkids into a room. "This conversation is for your own good." Max said. He shuts the door and locks it. "Grandpa Max! Let us out!" Ben said as he bangs on the door. They turned around and noticed Mike, Ken, Riley, Dawson, and Brianna in the room with them. "What are you guys doing here?" Ben said. "Because we brought them together." A voice said. They saw two Plumber agents, one of them was male and the other was female.

"Who are you?" Ben asked. "We're the ones that stopped Death's design." The man said. "Once we heard about the train accident and then less than 24 hours someone has died, we immediately knew what was going on." The woman said. "I'm Thomas Burke." The man said. "And I'm Kimberly Corman." The woman said. "Uh, nice to meet you." Gwen said. "Ben did you have a premonition about that accident?" Kimberly asked. "I did, how did you know?" Ben asked. "Ken told us that his cousin was freaking out before getting on board." Kimberly said. "But we have to be careful, the next person on Death's list will die any second now." Ben said. Then the lights starts flickering. "Ah oh..." Ben said.
