Chapter 1 The Beginning Hi my name is James me and My sister Susan were born In New York City it all started a couple of years ago I was driving to the nearest drug store to pick up some medicine and face masks because of the pandemic was going around the viruses is called the Spanish Flu it first started in Spain than USA didn't take it serious that's why it's called the spanish flu after I got the medication and the face masks I was driving to the grocery store to get some food I saw my friend Claire we know each other for many years we first meant in 1st Grade we both Graduated at the same High School we Talked for a little bit than I payed for all my groceries than left. Than I drove back home went I drove in to the driveway I parked tin the Garage I shut the car door and open the Trunk were all the groceries were Susan my sister came to the garage to help put the groceries away after we put the groceries away the phone started to ring I picked up the phone and I said Hello Claire was on the other end than she told me she was coming over for something I told her. Why she said I bad news to tell you than she said bye than I put down the phone than Susan asked what's wrong I told her Claire was coming over she said she had some bad news than Susan started to worry it might be something serious I told don't worry Susan I will do the talking and you listen she replied saying ok 30 minutes later Claire parked in the parking lot outside than she came up and rang the doorbell I answered it and susan was behind me Claire came in the house and said Ok than she pulled out a map I asked her what is the bad news your going to tell us She opened the map and said You guys are in danger I told What What's going on I asked she said the virus was spreading to the mainland The Mainland is were and my sister live than Claire said we must go to somewhere safe so we won't get the virus I told where would we go I asked Claire answered and said there is a safe house but it's miles away Claire said call Sharon and tell her to come with us Sharon is a old friend that I meant years ago but I don't remember when so I picked up the phone a dialed Sharon's number I let the phone ring than she picked up after 3 rings Than she said Hi this is Sharon I said Back Hi this is James than I said Sharon were leaving the MainLand and I told her can you need to come with us.She asked why I said because the virus was spreading to the mainland I answered than she replied ok I will be right there I put down the phone than Susan said What's going on she asked I answered when Sharon gets here were leaving straight away She gave me a sad face after I answered than Claire said Oh Susan stop worrying so much your not going to catch the. Virus than Susan said No you just don't understand what if you catch the virus

Oh Susan your just being silly i'm not going to catch the virus than Susan gave her a upset face than I said you guys this isn't the time to argue than I heard a knock at the I opened the door it was Sharon with her umbrella and the rain pouring on it than we got in to Sharon's car because it was the biggest car for all of us to fit in Claire was sitting in the passenger seat Me and Susan were sitting in the backseats we drove off in to the rain. Chapter 2 Leaving The MainLand

When we were leaving the Mainland Claire was talking about the Virus she was telling us her Mother died a week ago from the virus Me,Susan and Sharon all said sorry because we all felt bad for Claire

So we said as long that we have each other than everything will be okay Claire smiled and we conuited are journey to the safe house than all sudden the car stopped Susan asked what happened Sharon answered were low on gas than Susan replied there is a gas station a block away lets go there Sharon said ok so Sharon was driving slow so she wouldn't use so much gas so we stopped at the gas station Claire and Susan were staying the the car Me and Sharon went inside than we saw a guy with a mask on saying its really dangerous out there than I said i'm just getting gas so I gave him the Money while I was in the Gas Station Susan and Claire were having a conversation Susan said to Claire Hey claire are you ok Claire responded Oh Susan your full of crap I killed my Mom but she did have the Virus but I killed her for money Than claire told Susan hey Susan I can teach how to drive a car But Claire I'm nervous of driving Shut up Susan get in the driver's seat or I will kill you to said Claire so Susan got in the driver's seat Than Claire said you stupid Girl put your seatbelt on than put your right foot on the break pellet than turn the key to the right Claire said than Claire I will be right back I need to text someone Claire Said
