Albert Trilbey has been running with the Van der Linde gang for about 3 years (around 20-21 when he joined up) after fleeing from a murder that he did not commit. Though he never originally wanted to turn to a life of crime, Trilbey believes that the Van der Linde gang provides him some safety while being a wanted man. Yet, I don't want to spoil too much about his character and will use the story to tell why he has gone on the run at such a young age.
During the Blackwater robbery, Albert Trilbey was with Arthur Morgan and Hosea Matthews as they scouted out another job. Al's information on the robbery has remained pretty vague as the gang is now being chased into the mountains...still, the young man can now only worry for his safety and that of his friends, believing that the Pinkertons remain on their trail.
