I was obsessed, madly obsessed. How could anyone do this to me? I don't even know her but she's already got me thinking about her.

I'm staring at my computer, I'm currently in my office at my building. People think it's a real company but actually it's just a cover up for the real work I do. The dirty work.

Ive been staring at my computer for a couple of minutes now, waiting for a notification from my private investigator.
I hired one, with the help of her ID it made the job so much easier.

Finally I get a notification from him, it's a file.
A couple of minutes later, I've read over her file multiple times.
I get another notification from my worker saying that he couldn't find any information about her family history. Nothing at all.
Weird.

I send the file to the others and I go back to reading her file again.
After reading it for the 10th time I close my computer and get off my new chair.
Since the last one broke.

I head over the glass windows. My building is the highest one in the city so I see everything.
I pull out a cigarette and light it.
I keep on staring outside the window while smoking until the cigarette runs out.

I wonder what she's doing right now.

"Gosh, why do I even care" I sigh and run my hand through my hair.
I head back to my chair and open up my computer again. The screen shows her file, I forgot to close it.
It wouldn't hurt if I read it one more time.

Her job is interesting. She owns a store called Vintage Blooms and works alone. I search her store online and realize that her store isn't quite in business. Barely any reviews.
I go back on her file and see that her favourite coffee shop is close to her shop.

I can't always keep a eye on her, but someone can.
I pick up my phone and dial one of my best workers.

"Hello?" She picks up.
"Come to my office now"
I don't bother for her answer and hang up.

A couple of minutes, a blonde haired girl stand in front of my desk with her hands crossed.
"What do you need?" She asks
"You are one of my best workers so I put my trust in you. There is this girl called Nora and I need you to keep a eye on her"

"How do you want me to do that?" She asks
"I'll send you her file, be friends with her, get her trust and protect her. Work at her place and get to know her more. Each day I want you to tell me everything she told you. Understood?"
I look at her deep in the eyes to make sure she isn't gonna back down from the assignment

"Yes, sir" She nods her head at me.
"Good. I printed out her file and more information of this assignment." I hand her a packet of papers.
"Great." She grabs them
"Don't disappoint me, Skylar"
"I won't sir." She leaves my office.

Now we wait.
