The Shy Flirt

Chapter 1

This is my first day of school. Well not literally, it's my first day of high school. I'm so scared because this'll be my first time at a co-ed school. Up until now I've been at an all girls school so I've never really interacted with boys before. 

I love my parents but when they decided to just up and move while putting me into a new school with a sex I'd never really interacted with was annoying. I hated it. Don't get me wrong I still have all my friends they're just knowhere close anymore.

I start to get dressed while my mom yells "Calli come on you're going to be late!" to me.

I finally go downstairs after brushing my hair. I get into the kitchen and greet my mom while sitting down at the table for breakfast. "Hey mom, good morning".

"Hello sweetie, I have to go to work soon so make sure you're ontime for the bus, ok?" She said.

"Of course mom, I'll be ontime", I replied back.

I finished my breakfast and went back upstairs to brush my teeth, do my skincare and put on my makeup. I just decided to keep my hair down instead of doing anything to it.

I was going down the stairs while my mom was saying goodbye to me, my dad had already left early in the morning like he always does. 

I finally put on my shoes and grabbed my bag to leave the house.

While on the way to my bus stop I looked around and took in the pretty trees and flowers around me. I stopped at a tree a bit away from the stop because there were people already there and I didn't need to stop there for the bus to see me.

The bus stopped and I got on, choosing a seat. On the ride there I just looked out the window while listening to my music.

The school came into view and I went inside after getting off. I looked around me and started walking to my class because the orientation day was the day before. 

I got to my class and the teacher Miss Anderson started telling us after explaining a few things, to get up because we're going to our lockers.

We were walking there and a girl tapped me on the shoulder. I turned to her and smiled.

"Hi I'm Sophia, who are you?", She introduced.

"Hello, I'm Calli nice to meet you", I replied with a kind smile. I could tell she was a kind person.

"Nice to meet you too! Want to be friends? We could hang out all the time and we could have lockers next to each other!" She asked eagerly.

"Yeah sure, that would be nice", I replied back just as eagerly. We laughed and continued talking all the way there.

We got our lockers next to each other just like we wanted and I could tell we'd be friends for a long time.

We all walked back and took our seats as Miss Anderson started talking again about the school, her class and the upcoming year.

Also something about me I'm Canadian so I will be spelling things with Us' and stuff like favourite as apposed to favorite.
