Chapter 1 (Rewrite)

It is a Sunday night. While most people cry before school starts, I kept calm as I lay down on my bed. As the clock strikes at nine o'clock, I keep on thinking about the new people that I will meet tomorrow.

I heard that there is a list of popular people in this academy. According to my sister and my two brothers, there are 6 guys that have the title of princes. I think the most popular among them was someone who has the surname Kim... Although if I remember correctly, there are 3 Kim's that are in this list.

Well, I don't really care. As long as I do not bump into them and avoid everyone, then I can achieve my dreams.

After all, geniuses are always alone....

"Hey, wake up." My mother said, "It's your first day of school."

I woke up and did my morning routine. After preparing everything, the school bus just arrived on time.

I sat at a far corner of the bus. I put my earphones on and played some music from my playlist.

"Hey, we're already here." A handsome guy poked my shoulder.

If I remember correctly, this is Kim Seokjin. He's handsome alright, I can see why he's popular.

"Thanks, I guess." I timidly replied and got off the bus with him and other students. Although, I ran just to avoid the crowd that was approaching the guy.

I stopped just before the entrance and bought a drink in the vending machine. I soon entered the building, to which many people were fangirling just beyond the shoe locker.

I didn't get curious but decided to see what the commotion was.

I saw another handsome guy who had a smile on his face. Although, I can tell that was not a genuine one.

"Ahhh Kim Taehyung! You're so handsome!" A girl shouted

"Kim Taehyung I love you!!" A guy said, probably gay.

Let's see, he gives a playboy vibe. If I have to compare him to an anime character that my sister watches, it'll be Kaoru Hakaze of Ensemble Stars or Laito Sakamaki of Diabolik Lovers.

I looked at the girl beside me. She has bangs and dyed orange hair. While it is my goal to graduate alone, I would like to indulge myself in a little chat.

"Is he some kind of celebrity?" I asked her.

"Oh, no." She replied, "Kim Taehyung is just a rich playboy. His looks and his background is the reason why he is popular." 

Hmm... Looks like my intuition is correct.

"By the way, you look new. I suppose you're Y/N, right?" She asked.

"Oh yeah. I'm Y/N." I replied.

"Nice to meet you Y/N. I'm Lisa." Lisa offered me a handshake, "We're classmates actually. Shall we go to our classroom?"

"Yeah sure." I said...

In the end, I made a friend.... Which makes my 'alone' goal a void.

But little do I know that the popular guy got a glimpse of me.

"She's their youngest, huh? She's a rare beauty. I like her."

We stopped by the vending machine again. It just so happens that I am fond of the orange juice that I got earlier. When we arrived at the classroom, I could see the popular guy sitting at my desk.

"Excuse me, can you move? That is my seat-"

Suddenly, he pinned me at the wall. I glared at him.

What the heck is this guy's problem?

"Y/N L/N, right?" He asked, "You're just like your siblings say."

"Aren't you going to let me go?" I asked, still glaring at him. He scoffed, "You have thorns. As expected."

He lets me go and I sit down at my chair where he still stares at me, "But this attitude of yours. You really are a L/N, huh? What are you four, a family of cold people?"

He glared at me while his hands were resting on my desk, "Listen Y/N. If you treat me like that, many people will fight you for it. If I sit on your table, then go find another seat. It's as easy as that. Do you understand?"

"No I do not." I said, avoiding his gaze, "You think you are a king in this academy, don't you? Kim Taehyung, also known as 'Mr. Playboy' in my siblings' words. Well let me tell you this. Once you leave this school, your throne will be left empty. So get out of my sight."

"You..." He became angry at my words. While I also consider them harsh, it's what this playboy needs. Although, I'm feeling a little guilty about this.

"Hmph, I'll let it slide this time. But you better watch your beautiful tongue, Y/N." He said and proceeded to sit at the back of the room.

I sighed. What in the world did you do Y/N?

Hello! This is your author Therese! I'm back, lol after 2 years... I think?

Anyways, a rewrite of this book is not on my mind not until I published Night Serenade (Izumi Sena Fanfic) and Since 1952 (Yang Jungwon fanfic).

Although, while I don't really want to edit it again.... Well to be honest, this book sometimes makes me feel cliche huhuhu...

I mean, ahem, "You stole my throne" said Taehyung... I don't know what chapter is it...

Anyways, if you know the history of this book. Well this book was written in 2018. I was 11 years old at that time so I don't really have the idea of what a playboy means not until I met this handsome guy. *inserts picture of Kaoru*

Yeah... It's an anime character lol. He's Kaoru Hakaze of Ensemble Stars. He is also an idol and a playboy. Oddly enough, his band's theme color is purple lol.

(P.S.: OMG Why is he's so handsom... Nevermind....)

So yeah, thats how I had a new perspective on this book. Although I'm not sure if I really want to rewrite this book. While it might be nice, I'm still busy on my two other books lol. But I'll think about it.

Anyways, this chapter could also served as its 5th year anniversary (since I forgot when did I published this. Although I think it was at this time) lol HAHAHAHAHA. So enjoy :)
