CHAPTER 2

                                                        *** 3:25 ***

It's now 3:25, and still no sign of Soul, 'weird' he should have been here, he was always the first to arrive, 'what is wrong today'. I decided to ask my boss for an early break because ours is not until 4:30. I'm now standing at his door and knocking for about a minute, "Come in", came Mr. Blockhead's voice, "Sure" I mumbled to myself, "Good mor...." I started but was cut short by his angry voice "What", "Sir, I just came to say I wanted an early break " , I answered him, " Why?" he asked, " My mother is sick and needs Immediate medical attention" I lied, because that's the only option I had right now, "your mother?" he asked, and I nodded, "You can go, actually, you could take the whole day if you'd want " he said a little bit concerned, I had always known he had taken a liking to my mother since she ca..., "What're you waiting for?, a letter" he asked, laughing at his unfunny joke, "Yes, okay, thank you sir" I replied turning back to open the door, he scares me sometimes.

*** 3:40 ***

'Should have just waited till my launch break' I thought as I walked towards my office, but not before giving them a creepy look , 'That, should last them a day' I thought, before hearing her faint whisper, "Weirdo ", 'Just Ignore' I said to myself, as I heard my phone ring, looking at the caller ID, I saw it was an unknown number, 'Unknown number?, who'd call me?', "Hello, Who is this?" I asked, waiting for a response, "He's here", the caller said, "Who?" I asked again, that was all I heard before he ended the call, I felt my phone vibrate, "Lekki Phase 1, bring the goods and come alone" It read, Lekki Phase 1? that is a 10 minute drive, and bring the goods? What goods, 'maybe Soul's there' I said to myself, 'No........, Soul can't be there' I tried to reassure myself, but I could feel myself getting worried, 'I'll just go' I thought, calming down and fixing myself as I ran out of J&B.

Getting a taxi was quite a hassle, it took 5 minutes of my time, but I did get one, "Lekki Phase 1" I said in a hurry, "Sure sir" the taxi driver said.

*** Flash Back***

"Mark, Mark, wake up" a Voice said, I easily recognized it as Soul's, "Soul, where are you?" I yelled, an abrupt silence followed, "Soul, answer me please" I yelled again, "Mark it's alright" Soul said, I came closer and I could see him clearly, there he was, lying down, covered in his pool of blood, "SOUL....." I shouted as I ran to him, I was too late he was already dead....

*** End Of Flash Back***

"Sir,Sir, we've arrived ", He said, "Oh, Okay" I stepped down and paid him, I wasstill shocked but calmed down and rushed to the address sent, "SOUL, Soul,don't you ever scare me like tha...." I stopped dead on my tracks as I saw the scene before me.
