Jungkook looks less than pleased to see Jimin again for the second time that day. His lips are pursed like he's pouting, and his arms are folded across his chest as he waits for Jimin by the steps. "Gee, is the idea of a date with me that repulsive?" Jimin sulks a little as he reaches Jungkook's side. "Are you worried that people you know will see us?"

"It's not that –"

"–because you could just tell them that we're friends. So long as your circle and my circle stay as two independent circles."

"Why do I always feel like I'm being coerced into things when I talk to you?"

"I wouldn't say you were coerced," Jimin muses, tapping his chin as they start to walk together. "It's more like... gentle persuasion. I just happen to be a very persuasive person."

"Right..." Jungkook drawls, narrowing his eyes at Jimin. "What did you say you'd let me do? Touch your butt? Very persuasive of you."

Jimin picks up on the sarcasm but he pretends it doesn't exist. Much like his dignity ever since he'd coerced a random stranger into pretending to date him. "Well? Did that persuade you?"

He watches as Jungkook's eyes flicker down to his ass for a fraction of a second. He looks back up and meets Jimin's eyes like he isn't ashamed of himself at all. "Depends," he says vaguely, and picks up the pace as they draw closer to the nearest café.

"On what?" Jimin asks as he jogs a little to catch up to Jungkook just as they reach the café. Jungkook opens the door.

"On whether you meant it or not," he answers, and then heads inside. He locates a small table for himself and Jimin, sits down and begins to unpack his laptop and a textbook from his bag. He's already typing in his password by the time Jimin reaches him and sits down opposite. He starts to take out his own laptop, slowly, because he doesn't really want to sit still, and because that someone he barely knows just said something that Jimin didn't really understand and he's waiting for an explanation – is he expecting to touch Jimin's butt or not – though he doesn't seem to get what he wants, this time around.

He doesn't really want to know, he realizes. He's never had his butt touched by a guy before, and he thinks that maybe he should take this slowly.

"What do you want to eat?" Jimin asks Jungkook before he buries himself in his assignments. Jungkook looks up like he'd forgottenJimin was there.

"Oh," he says. He did forget. "Hmm... how about an americano and a slice of cake? This place does really nice caramel cake"

Jimin furrows his brows. "I would never have taken you for a caramel kind of guy."

"Hm?"Jungkook looks up to meet Jimin's eyes when Jimin stands up with his wallet in his hand. "What kind of guy would you have taken me for?"

"I dunno," Jimin shrugs casually. "Granola bars and protein powder, that kind of stuff."

"Huh," Jungkook straightens up slightly, "one of my friends said the same thing, once, about granola bars. I wonder why..."

"Jungkook," Jimin says, grabbing his attention just before he drifts off into his wonderment with his finger stroking his chin. Jungkook snaps his head up to look at Jimin. "You're wearing overalls. You don't have to wonder that hard."

He leaves Jungkook with that nugget of information and heads up to the front where he places their orders.

When he returns with their coffees and desserts he has to remind Jungkook not to dig into their cakes because pictures come first. He takes a few of their desserts before he twists in his seat to take some pictures withJungkook. Then, he takes some of the café, because it's cute.
