Broken promise {chris}

Chris's pov:
I have always been one to make silly pinky promises. To other people they might not matter or they do. I don't know. But for me they mean so much. One day me and Nick were hanging out just us in our rooms and we started talking about relationships.

Flashback:

"Hey Nicky?" I ask.

"Yeah what's up, hun?" He asks me.

"Promise me if when you get a boyfriend you will spend Atleast one or two days a week with me like this?" I ask sticking my pinky out. I see him look at me with a soft smile.

"I promise,silly, I would never just up and leave you for a guy" he says locking out pinky's.

End of flashback.

Well that was indeed a broken pinky promise. Nick has been dating this guy named jace for a couple of months. At first we still hung out and talked all the time.

But the more serious his relationship got with Jace the less he talked or hung out with me. I know I should be happy that he has someone but I miss my older brother. I miss night talks. I miss cuddles. I just want my brother back. I don't understand why he doesn't want to hang out with me anymore.

Why would he choose a boy over me?! I lay on my bed crying because I miss him so much. That's when I heard a knock at the door.

"Chrissy? Are you okay?" I hear a voice that I recognize outside the door. It's Matt.

"Yeah" I say as my voice cracks from crying. The door cracks open and Matt looks at me.

"Oh Chris.." he says walking over and giving me a hug. "What's wrong?" He asks.

"I miss Nick so much. He told me he wouldn't ever ditch me for a guy but now he has. I mean he's my brother why does his boyfriend talk to him more than I do?!" I say.

"Chris I can't promise you anything but I think Nick is just happy that he has a boyfriend who's actually there for him. I'm sure he soon will hang out with you again he's just in his honeymoon stage of his relationship" Matt says comforting me.

"Okay thanks Matty" I say to him.

"Anytime! Want me to talk to Nick for you?" He asks me. I nod my head and he walks out the room. I lay back down and soon fall asleep.

I wake up to my door being opened. It was Nick.

"Hey sleepyhead I didn't know you were asleep! You can go back to sleep if you want" he says to me.

"No no it's okay" I say and he nods.

"I'm sorry for breaking our promise Chris! I'll make it up to you, me and you just us will go out and do something fun tomorrow, how's that sound?" He asks me.

"Yes! That sounds so much fun and it's okay Nicky I'm glad you have Jace" I say. He walks over and gives me a hug. I melt into his arms. I've missed his hugs so much. (Not in a weird way)
