To say that he was eager to touch her would be an understatement.

He craved her kiss, hungry for her skin. He'd cut himself open if he could and bind them together by the bone of their chests just so he'd never have to be away from her again.

He let his finger run in every inch of her he could touch, an urgency and a greediness in them that had grown over the agonizing years she wasn't by his side. In turn, she ran her fingers through his hair, slipped them under his coat so she could run them along his spine and make him shiver from the sensation.

Her mouth was bitter from the alcohol and bad decision. But Jin ignored it. It wasn't a difficult task when she swiped her tongue across his lips to meet his own. She sighed against his lips and the sound set fire alight in his chest, electrifying his fingers, his blood pulsing in his ears.

He trailed kisses to her cheek, along the column of her neck and bit the skin where it joined her shoulder. Her fingers tightened on her shoulder, her fingernails pressing to his skin, as she gasped his name.

"Jin."

He licked the bruise with a smile.

God, she's so easy to please.

His lips left soft kisses along her shoulders as he peeled her shirt back, down to her collarbone, down to her chest. Her fingers, buried in his hair, tightened as she pressed herself even closer to his lips.

But before his fingers could work on the remaining buttons, before his lips could go any lower, she grabbed him by his cheeks and pressed a searing kiss to his mouth.

Maybe it was her eagerness. Maybe it was the small sounds she made. Maybe it was the way her mouth responded with his every demand. Maybe it was all three that made her so much more intoxicating than any other time he'd kissed her before.

Her fingers began skirting around the collar of his thick coat, tugging it experimentally.

"I love you," she whispered against his lips, pulling him even closer to her, her legs tightening around his waist.

Jin felt the world spin underneath him as his chest threatened to explode from the intensity of his heart beat. He pulled her impossibly closer to her and asked himself why he started punishing himself when her hands knew him so well, when her lips tasted this sweet.

And just like that, something clicked in Jin's brain, like a switch turning off.

He stiffened and opened his eyes, and only then did he really realize where he was.

Byulyi pulled away slightly, her warm breath fanning over his lips as she breathed heavily. The smile on her face slowly fell as she, too, realized what she'd said, saw how he reacted.

His face hardened as he stepped away from her, resting his fingers on his lips as an expression of disbelief spread across his face.

He let his guard down.

And now look at him. Wrapped around her finger like she wanted to.

"Jin," she started, but he walked away before she could say anything else.

His name sounded like honey dripping from her lips before. Now it sounded like poison.

Her fingers wrapped themselves around his wrist. "I didn't want to—"

"Fuck off," he hissed, yanking his wrist from her hand. He didn't even bother looking at her because he knew he'd cave once he saw the look of hurt in her face. So he marched forward until he reached the end of the tent.

"Just listen to me for a second."

He spun on his ankles, his eyes lighting with fire. "You had seven years. Seven! To reach out to me and explain," he accused, his teeth baring themselves from anger. He stepped closer to her face just so he could snarl, "And I received nothing."
