The Upgrade

I was 1 and 1 month old when Mia Lark Rosealié was born. Once again the attention to me was minimal, but once again I didn't mind. Mia became Ma's favorite, and was always dressing up like her with a purple T-shirt, mini skirt, and a little black apron with the logo "Little Coffee". This was their work outfit, and she took her to work with her.
One day, they went to work at 7:00, the usual, came back at 6:00, made dinner of chicken, asparagus, and mashed potatoes, and at the dinner table, told Daddy and I that there was a new work upgrade.
"We could move to Germany and we would be a big hit!" Ma said.
"What about all our friends?" asked Daddy.
"Dominic, I'm sure they would understand."
"Alright, new sights, new places, new things to see I guess."
So we packed, and said goodbye, and bought tickets to Munic online. Finally the day was here. Aunt Chess came with us, and persuaded Auntie Pat and Aunt Rose to look over the shop. So we got on the plane, and 17 hours later, we were there. I thought of Liz, and I missed her. But I knew, once I learned to write, I would send her letters.
